Good morning LL Fam, ~O) ~O) ~O) .
Last night i decided to sleep downstairs with Tommy and Teddy, so i took the 2 droolers with me because that's where they
always want to be, right by mommy's side, which is fine with me. Ryleigh slept on my right side all night long and Tommy on my left.. I awoke to find Tommy scratching a place right next to my head on the blanket. I didn't get him in time, yep, went pee pee right there by my head :o. I think my husband covered up too much of the opening so not only couldn't Charlie and Ryleigh eat poo in the middle of the night, but i think the furbabies couldn't get in..I'm not sure. I saw no other accidents. :-D :-D.
Tommy's number this morning, I am very happy with it, i was just wondering, Does clavamox mess with BG's in any way?
Well I hope you all have a wonderful morning, I'll try not to have any more drama around here today :lol:

What a thrilling night!
Tommy looks like he's going to do well today with his bgs. I don't think Clavamox would "mess" with bgs, but if there is an infection and if Clavamox is bringing it down, then you will see lower bgs.

Good morning guys .. my, what day you had yesterday .. I hope that tommy is going to be feeling better in no time with the meds on board .. I don't have an answer to your question about clavamox .. Sorry to hear about the pee incident .. hope you guys have a nice calm day today!

Sorry about the pee on the head. I have crawled into a wet bed before (ewww) but have not had one actually pee on the bed while I'm in it.

As others have said, keep an eye on Tommy's BGs. If he has an infection, that might have been driving up his numbers. Sometimes as the infection starts to clear, numbers can drop quickly. Go Tommy!

If someone should stumble upon this tonight, i would please like to know how to insert a candle in a post.. I have put one in for Copper already, but i put it in as an attachment and there is text underneath it that i do not want there. I would like to know how to put my own text like Mannie did.. Sienne said something the other day about pasting the link between the url.. I could not get it to work.

A very sad evening in LL.. :sad: I too am going to light a real one for Copper to help guide him over to his awaiting friends.

OUCHHHHHHHHH!!! Almost 200 points in 2hrs.. can the start of a bounce happen that fast.. To be sure i tested twice, second number was 437..Looking over Tommy's SS, I don't see where he's ever had that kind of a jump so fast. He is on Clavamox 62.5mg BID!
If any one has any ideas, I'll be happy to listen. Libby feels that since Tommy has been having so much blue lately i should hold off on using R. I completely agreed. I wonder if this changes anything. Please help if you can. I did pose the question to Libby about using R while Tommy is on clavamox, but i think she has gone ni ni already, she was pretty darn tired when she pm me earlier.

I did go ni-ni but had to get back up because I forgot that I needed to do laundry. Oh well.

I have to admit that I wouldn't let my cat hang out in the 400s if I had R in the house. Are you able to test at all tonight? It looks like 0.25 usually pulls him out of the 400s really fast and might require some testing, since his numbers overall are improving. 0.1 might not pull him down, but might keep him from going higher while you sleep. Up to you.

I can stay up for him..not sure how coherent i will be. If he's still high i will go ahead and help him out with the .25..
So it is ok to give that while he is on Clavamox..

can't help with dosing but i can empathize with being peed on. My civvie has had a history of utis and crystals and he developed a behavioral problem where he actually pees ON ME. It is humiliating to say the least and most times I can catch it but not all. I would love to know what is going on in that little brain of his.

hi - on the candle photo insertion - this is how I do mine, when I want a photo to appear in the post. my photos are saved on my pc. near the bottom of the post where you type what you want to say is a tab "upload Attachment" - click on that. I then click on "browse" to find the photo I want. In the section called file comment, you can call it whatever you want. once all that is done click on "add file". Once that processes you can elect to place the photo inline, which is what I do. I hope that helps.

sorry for the 597 - sounds like you have help with that.

Steph, I feel for you. Tommy hasn't actually peed on me ( it would be fine if none of them ever did) :-D
What happened this morning is as close as it's ever come. I'm sorry to hear about the problems with that happening to you.
You never have found out why he pees ON you.? That is very strange. Thank you for sharing your story with me. I don't feel quite so bad now.

Michelle, when i did it earlier i actually did everything you just told me to do except the section called file comment.. I will look for that next time. Thanks for letting me know.
As for that 597, yeah ouch!! i can't tell you the last time i saw it that high.. Libby to the rescue :-D

Julie, why yes i did. I gave him .25R.. I was so frazzled and just a bit upset at seeing the high number i completely forgot to put it in.
Thanks for asking if i had, i may not have put it in there even when i did his +1.
I told him last time i was taking his ball away if he didn't stop.. He did not listen :lol:

No I have never found out why, I just chalk it up to behavior, after I get him checked out of course. I think since Java has gotten sick, he has become more needy and I cant always give them the same amount of attention. If I don't greet him immediately or if I come in and get right on the computer, he makes me pay. He has only done it 5 or 6 times but that is enough. Oh well he cant help it, I think he may have a little dementia or possibly a stroke. If I catch him in time, it's like he remembers what he is doing.

Squirrel: so sorry about Tommy's bounce...he was looking so good!! Hope the R will bring him back down. I have had Gracie pop up fast....sometimes those bounces just come fast and hard.
