Beautiful greens last night. Yay! Another bounce this morning, but he is starting to clear them in Olympic hurdler fashion. Happy furry purry guy today. All 5 p's present, with an additionsl #5 in case my sinuses weren't working right. :lol:

OT - We go to the vet tonight for a recheck on Charlie's leg. He is still limping but not nearly as bad. It definitely is his toe and not his knee. I have been reading and reading about broken toes on canines. If it is broken, DH and I have decided that we definitely do not want it splinted, casted, or removed and just want it to heal on it's own. It seems that casting and splinting just causes even more issues with pressure sores, etc. I am going to the vet alone so will just have to stick to my guns on this one. I am going to ask for more painkillers and some antibiotics just to avoid any infections.

Hi Melissa and yay on the greens last night. Good luck with Charlie's Vet appt. and sending special vines for a good appt for Charlie and vines for you to stand your ground with Charlie's treatment. Try not to worry too much, easier said than done. Hugs.

Hope Charlie will be feeling better soon..Feet & legs are delicate things! Hope his toe isnt broken, just maybe bruised & will heal quickly--Yes stick to your guns with vet! You know how they are!!

Hi Melissa. Me too, hope Charlie's toe isn't broken, just bruised, and will heal well on it's own, in time.

Boing boing....looking for bouncing to clear, and Tarragon to come down to nice numbers again. :-D

Awesome greens last night. Yes, I'm sure T is just laughing at the little bounce.

Good luck at the vet tonight. Poor Charlie! It sounds like you've got a great plan for Charlie...what you're thinking makes perfect sense. Hopefully the vet won't battle you!

Tarragon....this is going to be a banner week for parties....with Ruby's OTJ party and then the sleepover for two days at Mocha's...and then it.s to my place for the full moon...and it's also cinco de mayo...whew...are you ready for this wild ride??? LOL!

Stinky pinks. He must still be bouncing. Oh well. He's a happy guy so that is what matters.

Back from the vet with Charlie. Still no news. They are going to do X-rays Saturday but he has to be sedated for those. He is putting more weight on it. Also, if it is broken, the vet doesn't believe in splinting or casting so there was no fight there. The X-ray is just to double check his knee and know for sure that it is his toe. An expensive peace of mind.

That's great the Vet agrees with you about the casting. Vines for Charlie to heal and get stronger. Have a good night, Melissa.

T is liking this dose, showing some nice blues and greens with fairly short bounces. :-D Paws crossed for Charlie.
