Good Morning, Everyone,

We are back in yellow and hope not to see any more pinks. Rusty had a good night and ate all his nighttime food, wanted his breakfast before dawn, but went back to sleep. This morning we have the CPC: first and second sittings eaten, good test and shot, lung treat, and the Laird is ready for an exciting day in Brooklyn with his pals. The beans are about to head out for the morning. I to the doctor for annual; Edward to the Library. This afternoon the bike expo. Dinner with old friends tonight. Home to the Adirondacks tomorrow.

This has been a fun, busy week. Thank you all for visiting. Special thanks to Tess (and Ann!) for showing us pics of all the venues where the kitties put "Mannie was Here" plaques. These are so neat!

Yo Kitties, The last day in the city is Brooklyn Day. We'll walk over the Brooklyn Bridge and see great views of the harbor. Then stroll on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and have some snacks of cimmamum cookies from a great bakery. Then on to Prospect Park where we can go out on the lake in the swan peddle boats and visit the swan family and the ducks. Then we'll take the subway to Coney Island for lunch at Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs and a walk on the boardwalk. Then a ride on the Cyclone rollercoaster and some of the other rides, maybe even the
Parachute jump. We'll wrap up the day with real NY cheesecake at Junior's. Fun today. You guys are the greatest. We'll put up lots of Mannie plaques and we'll stop in at the BMG headquarters in Manhattan just to make sure Mannie's plaque is displayed in a good spot. See ya later,

I'm glad Rusty is enjoying his trip to the big city with you. It's nice that he's done with "that" color and is bringing his little self back down. "The Laird" :lol: He is a regal kitty!! I hope your check up is quick and uneventful..then on to more fun for your last day before heading home. Good, safe travel vines to you.

What a day!!! whooo hooooo. We could have peddle boat races but who would be the judge? It's gonna be so fun to see the swans. Hot dogs and roller coasters!!!! I wanna do the parachute jump!!! Can't wait to get to the BMG headquarters. Let's play a concert in front of Mannies plaque. Got my backpack and i'm on my way.. oliver

YAY for yellow and no more pinks. Good choice Rusty - and I hope you can find those blues today. Only one day to go, and then you can go home. Maybe you and your pals can have a BMG gig on the rooftops tonight? Send you home then with some blues.... :-D hey - enjoy those paddle boats! Make sure Tess doesn't try the titanic thing! best bring the ropes, just in case.

Enjoy your day Ella. I hope your annual goes well. Enjoy the bike expo too. That sounds fun, and I hope there are lots of wonderful new things being exhibited. Dinner with friends tonight should be good. FUN awaits!

I too wish to thank Ann for all the "Mannie was Here" plaques and photos. It was such a feel good thing for me. I saved all the photos. I love the thought of a BMG Mannie plaque. :lol: :cool:

Enjoy the last day of your NYC trip, Ella (except for the doctor visit). I have so enjoyed seeing all of the Mannie plaques in your condo this week. Great work by Ann on those.

What a great day y'all have planned. Busy, but a good kind of busy. Good thoughts to you for a very boring annual exam!!! It's nice to see Rusty climb down to a lower floor. Let's stay there, Rusty...maybe a bit lower still!!

Whew! No more of that color, not Lairdly at all!

Have a good day and I hope all checks out well. Another busy day, it will be nice to get home and relax, I bet! But it sounds like you have such fun in the City!

Hi Ella, sounds like a very busy day. I hope all goes well with your doctor's appt. Enjoy the bike ride and the rest of the day. You will need a vacation at home after all is done.

Rusty, can't wait to spend out last day together. We have more Mannie was Here Plaques to distribute and thanks to Tess for making them. The Nathan's is special to Mannie. See ya soon, Mags

Great WCR for Rusty (except those numbers, oh well, they'll come down when you get back to the mountains). Love the plaques! Those kitties really get around. :lol: :lol: :lol: I know they miss Mannie, because we sure do.

Nice report on Rusty this morning. I hope everything goes well with your doctor's appointment and you enjoy the bike expo.

I can't wait to go to Brooklyn. We definitely need to play in front of the BMG sign. Mannie would love it.

Hope you had a good checkup and great fun at the bike Expo! You have to have a chance to play after a physical! New bike perhaps?

Everything at the BMG Headquarters is doing well, but, um, I tolds them they were the first to get a plaque. It made them feel good. Shhhhh, no telling! The impromptu street concert rocked too! -- Tess

Hi everyone!

What great pics with the plaques! Tess, you and your mamabean did a terrific job!

Rusty came down to blue (in honor of Mannie) and wants to get going back home already tonight. He is all excited (we vacuumed and that is the signal).

My dr. Appt was cancelled (an emergency surgery), but since I already got a good report on the mammogram and sonogram, I'm not going to reschedule this spring. I didn't want to go in any event. Instead I got to spend more time at the bike expo with my friend and we got lots of free stuff and saw a lot of our cycling friends. Dinner this evening with friends was fun.

Now to pack some stuff.

Everyone have a great weekend and thanks so much for visiting us.

Yo Kitties, what a great day. Shall we have a BMG concert on the roof tonight? It's so beautiful outside and we can sing and play all the songs Mannie composed. This has been such a fun week in the city. I'm sure that Mannie was with us the whole time. We rocked and the GAs at the Bridge must have been rockin' too. Thanks for the great week!

Glad to see Rusty has spent more time in blue today.....and such a busy day for the kitties!

I hope you enjoyed the bike expo and the whole trip. I don't remember if I told you that Jason now lives in Brooklyn.

Have a safe trip home and hope your dinner tonight was tons of fun!

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) Have a safe journey home today. Yesterday sounds like it went well, nice on the cancellation, sounds like all is well anywyas. It is too funny that Rusty knows it is time to head on home, with the vacuuming. Smart kitty!

WOO HOO! on the Brooklyn Bridge, Mannie would love that. I know his bean does! Well done kitties!! I hope you all had a great BMG session on the rooftops last night. What a great way to wind up time in the big city. :-D
