Oh Roni, I am so sorry. What a shock for you. It's already awful to lose them, but when it's a shock like that, it's so much worse. I know in time the pain will lessen, and the tears and grief will be replaced with smiles and fond memories. Consider yourself hugged! I'll be praying for you!

I'm so so sorry to read about Copper's passing! I hope there's something about his going on his own terms, peacefully, that gives you some comfort through the pain of losing him. I know your memories will help you, over time, to deal with missing him so much. It was a year ago, last week, that Calliope went to the bridge and the memories of her are just as strong today as they were a year ago. The memories keep her with me and so will yours of Copper.

oh, my goodness, Roni... I'm sorry to just now be posting. I just learned of Copper's trip to the bridge and I am just in tears for your loss. ((hug)) I too know the heartbreak of a sudden and totally unexpected loss of a furbaby and I am so sorry that you and your family are experiencing that pain this week. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know my girl Miss Belle is one of our many kids meeting Copper at the bridge and it brings me a smile to know they will meet.

Roni, I know how heartbroken you are right now and I hope it gives you a little comfort to know so many people here in LL are keeping you in their prayers and holding you close. You are an amazing mama bean and Copper knows how much you loved him. He is in a special place right now with all our other babies that have gone before us and he is surrounded with their love.
