Wow, and what a difference a day makes.... Mannie had a great green cycle in the morning, a really wonderful recovery from a pink and yellow day before. It was really nice to see. It sure didn't take him long to bounce once again. Back up to the pink zone in the PM cycle, which seems to have carried over to this morning. Sheeessshhhh on that 392. :YMSIGH: Well, so we start again today, hope the bounce doesn't last more than a cycle or two, hope for better things. You can do it Mannie: think green! cat_pet_icon

Mannie put me to bed last night: it is not often that he does that, but it sure was nice. :-D :-D Got myself all tucked in, he came and laid down on top of me, stayed until I dozed off. :cool: :razz: I vaguely remember him moving down to my feet. There is something kind of nice about falling to sleep to the sounds of purrs. :cool: It is another drizzly rainy morning here in the PNW, and a day for snoozing In Mannie's play book - so he is. Breffis was inhaled, civvie bowl raid attempted and thwarted, napping now in progress. He is so predictable sometimes - nanners checked and recheck, and once satisfied that all is as it should be he was off to his bed. Nothing better than a purring sleeping kitty. All is well in MannieLand. :-D :cool: :razz:

Have a great day everyone! I am off later today to Seattle, to visit friends, have some really good coffee and catch up on the latest news from my former employer.

FRIENDS!!!!! Big party at Gracie's today - we are celebrating hew new patio and deck and pool and whatever else them bad mens did to her abode. Grand reopening!! The catnip patch is thriving and HUGE - we need to harvest! She gots a fireplace and a ramada and a pool and everything! AND - NEW CUSHIONS! We gots to break them in. oooooooooooooo I SO HOPE that cabana bean is on duty. So grab your stuff and we are off to Gracie's. Roadster is prepped and ready to go for anybody that needs a ride! ~~ Mannie

For once Mannie and Tess decided to hang together and it's on the PINK floor! ohmygod_smile it's a day for them to recover from the effort they put in and for the beans to take a breather too. Enjoy Seattle! :-D

Hi Ann - sure are alot of pink kitties this morning - Gracie too. We can blame the new moon. I do wish that they would pick a different floor to hang out on. Even yellow would be better! A big YES on the breather thing!

Hi Iorwen - I so agree. It was so nice when he did that last night - it doesn't happen often enough. I am constantly loosing to a pile of nanners! :lol: :lol: I love it when I don't, cuz it is as you said - such a comfort! and thx: the day is great so far. :-D

I was wiping tears away from reading Roni's thread and I thought I was reading this wrong...64 @ +2? Mannie must think there's a storm coming because he certainly ran down to the 1st floor in a hurry! Well, lookie here....looks like Mannie and Abby are going to be hanging out tonight and this bean isn't going to get a good night's sleep tonight either!

You don't think he'd surf right through to his normal nadir given you're pretty close to that time? Either way - we've both seen lots of time in fairy green land tonight. YAY for healing BGs!

Hi Kristen - he could... he's done both. I'll either get a nice surf, or he just keeps going down. I don't really care for all the carbs. Some nights I can get by with the LC stuff, others not. I've found that with him that when the drop is very early on, like evident by +1, with a low BG to start, that I need the big guns, or we are looking at 40's. At least this way I can keep him in the 60 - 70 range, until he is ready to head up a little. It would be nice too is his nadir didn't shift. It's been as late a +8 sometimes... drives me crazy! Last few days it''s been around +6, so I am hoping it will be tonight too.

And yes - hooray for healing BG's!
