Good Morning LL
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! hmmmmm.... Been thinking about that blackberry thing Mannie used to make, I think it had apple and mocha and all kinds of unreal things in it. Sounds mighty fine to me.
I might have to have two! Elsa, you really need to get on board with this barista thing.... she's busy dinging around with ice cream float thing, lots of fudge too. the girl does love her ice cream....
Yesterday Nicholas and I spent the day on the river. AWESOME time. We had sun, and blue skies and warm, all near an incredibly beautiful river. With the snows starting to melt some on the mountains this river was so high and fast and full of energy. It was just the best. We spent almost the entire day there, walking from one end to the other, as far as we could get. We played in the sand, waded in the river, threw countless rocks and sticks, watched for any sign of trains on a very old still used elevated track over the river. Lunch was had on a boulder at rivers edge, as we watched the river move on by. We were fortunate enough to be able to watch an osprey fish that river. He made his aerial circles and then the fast dive into the river to catch his fish. Incredible sight, all just a mere 20 feet in front of us. Nicholas was so excited, and I so hope he will remember this. What a great day. I am one lucky person.... Picassa link to the photos and videos: Skyomish River
There was a very interesting and good discussion the Board yesterday. I hope we all will take time to read it, as it does really pertain to us all. I am sorry that someone failed to get needed help here, and hope maybe we can find ways to better what we do here, and help those that are new to LL. If you haven't read it, take time to look it over. In Joan Rivers' words, "Can we talk?"
I hope everyone has a great day. Nicholas and I are off to the pool today, and then not too sure what. Our weather is so so nice! Sunny, warm at about 70 today, and just perfect. I so hope we make it outdoors too.
Think blue, think green kitties!
Kitties! Have fun in NYC! Mannie is right there with you.
