Sorry for the very late post. Had some bean health business to take care of.

Lowest AMPS number for Daphne in a while, so happy about that, she sure struggles with her "dawn effect" issue.

I just noticed on my BD syringes, that the start line (after 0) sometimes is almost a .25 away. So another words, instead of a .25, I may be giving .50 sometimes. Its almost a whole drop difference. I'm not sure why I didn't notice this before, probably because we weren't concerned about getting such a small accurate dose. I have the .25 dialed in pretty well, (I filled a syringe with water and figure out what .25 looks like and leave it on the counter so my DH can look at it and make sure the syringe he injects in the AM is the same, and I also look at it and compare it with what I will shoot). So I know we have that part very accurate, but now it really annoys me that we may have been off many times without knowing. I know this topic has been gone over and over a lot, but I didn't think how much of a problem it is when you get down to the really low amounts. So I think I'll go through the syringes and get rid of the ones that are too off, what a waist of money. :YMSIGH:

Sending healing vines to all the kitties and beans who may need them today.

yeah, for people trying to give a small dose, you really need the extra accurate syringes, especially if your cat is very sensitive. you would think as big of a deal as insulin is that the syringes would have to be more accurate!

daphne is doing so well. every day that little girl is in greens! absolutely fantastic, barb! you and DH are doing something very right!

Thanks a lot Julie, we do try anyway, but I don't want to take all the credit, I think in some way, Daphne knows how hard life is with my own health, and she makes it so easy. She sure is a special, sweet little girl.

I didn't test much today, thought it was a good time to give Daphne a little break, while her mom bean got a little extra sleep.

I hope someone is awake now, since this is the first chance a have to visit condos today.

I'm sorry about the syringes being off. I complained to ReliOn about that and sent them 3 samples of different zero line markings. One of them was at the top of the syringe, one was about .25 down from the top, and one was in the middle.
They have switched suppliers, I believe I was told, and they are a lot better, now ***anti-jinx***

There is a way to measure using drops. I don't know how helpful this link is to your situation http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=34424#p360982
