I reduced her because the lime greens were alarming, but apparently I waited too long, or overdid the honey to get her out of lime.

She was constipated this morning, so gave lactulose and she cleaned out a couple hours later. That might be contributing to these high readings.
Now I just caught her doing that long low cough indicating she's got the nasty herpes that keeps making the rounds of my cats. I am thinking to start antibiotics, but she so hates it.

?????I don't know if she's bouncing right now, or just getting high BGs from the constipation, now resolved, and the herpes. Haven't seen anything this high for months, maybe even a year. ??????

Look back @ 04/05. You thought then it was too much honey. 4th cycle since greens. I would give it another cycle (or 2) and see if she comes down. If not, I would take her back up. :bighug:

How have you been doing? Missed seeing you around :)

Well, this seasonal job is from Hell this year. Stress up the wazoo!
And I'm filling out tons of papers for a census job at the same time. Looks like I've got it, if my security clearance comes through. I am astonished at how much information they want for what is listed as a non-security job. Fingerprints, passport photo, 30 pages to fill out, and a rather long on-line document I'm doing tomorrow morning - afternoon.

I'm worried about the 4 days training in Denver, because I don't know how to handle TiTi's care during that period. Besides the 4 days training, there are 2 days devoted to travel. That a long time for a kitty who's losing weight. By the end of this week or beginning of the next, I'm getting her checked out. I'm pretty sure she has CKD, and if so that's another layer of care needed. If it weren't for the horrendous behaviour of the airport security staff, I'd take her with me. I'm thinking about driving up there, but I'd need a rental, because my car is in late senior years (1999 - 2018).

Wow, I missed TiTi's barreling down the dosing scale! 3 units????

She certainly could be bouncing, or maybe the depot finally caught up after that crazy trip and things are levelling off. Or the tumor (assuming she's acro), could have been waning and is now reasserting itself. Or the kidney issues you're concerned about could be playing a part. With these multi-issue, older cats, it's really hard to pinpoint a cause. Sometimes you just have to roll with it.

I hope all goes well with the census job, but it does sound like another layer of stress for you....

Sending healing vines and good vetty vines, should you take her in. Don't forget to take care of you, Kathy!

Congrats of the reduction! TiTi is really rocking the ladder.

Good to hear from you and sounds like you have a lot going on. Good luck with the new job and I hope you will be able to work out TiTi's care during the training time . Keep us posted. :bighug:

Thanks. And yes, I know it's hard to determine. She goes in next week for sure. My biggest stress is the 6 days in Denver for training. TiTIi is delicately balanced now, and I know the being blind concerns her. I'm thinking if the census will cover mileage for a car trip rather than an airplane flight, I'll take TiTI with me. If they won't, I am stymied.
