Ugly bounce yesterday

All good here today. Zener is feeling fine, but having a little trouble getting around. He is having trouble getting up and sometimes walking. We can't decide if it's from his anal glands or arthritis or both. He got a shot of Adequan last night. We can't really tell that it makes a difference for him but figure that even a little benefit would be worth it. He did a big yard patrol this morning and all seems ok back there today. :lol:

OT: Zener was quite thrilled to learn that the Brazilians are training at our gym! Their uniforms were a bit lacking in the green but had lots of blue. Maybe Zener can make up for that for them. I'm off to the doc to get bloodwork done. Too bad I have to go for an office visit to get that done. I hope he's not too far behind.

Hopefully the Adequan will kick in and help Zener. It is so hard to tell what's affect them sometimes...it makes a bean what to pull her (or his) hair out, that's for sure. I'm glad he's keeping the yard safe...hae a great afternoon, guys!

Sending lots of vines for Zener's back end. Have you looked into laser treatments for him? I've thought about it for Neko but I don't like the idea of it on the spine, legs might be fine. Good to hear he has the energy and strength for those all important yard patrols. You never know what dangers are lurking in the compost.

Brazilians? What sport? F L A T yellow so far, Zener might yet be headed for the lagoon.

Looks like Zener is in his O Canada state of mind at PMPS. It may be time for some more juice if we don't see some better numbers very soon. Can't tell if this could be a bounce from a brief peek of blues or just not enough juice. The beans will confer on a plan.

OT fire report
Residents who were in the belly of the beast of the fire were allowed to return home today, they had to evacuate a week ago Tuesday. Photos are popping up now showing the areas burned from the fire. There are a few areas that were hit with high intensity fire and look pretty bad and others that look like a typical low intensity fire with a mosaic pattern that will help forest health. The back burning is over now, and the smoke will start to decrease. We had a few whiffs today, but not much. And we had a cloudy day with some sort of substance that fell from the sky, it felt wet. We aren't sure what it was. :lol:

Z Man, we hope that you will be getting around better this evening. Rusty invites you to do some therapeutic swimming in the lagoon.

Good to hear that the fires are winding down and we hope that the smoke will, also.

Liz, I hope you passed your blood tests! Anne, I'll bet you're glad that you didn't have to go to Germany while the fires were at their worst. Will you reschedule? or has all the work been done via conference call. Do you have your new computer yet?
