Not TOO bad today, after her dip in the lagoon last night, but that +3 makes me a little nervous - I'm afraid she's just going to keep going up, since she hasn't headed down at all. But you never know.

I did lots of fuds rambling in yesterday's condo. I still don't know what I'm going to do. In general, I'm just not happy with Wellness as a manufacturer and company, even though both Trix and Frankie like the food. Rhiannon had listed the values of some other fuds that aren't on Dr Lisa's list...maybe I'll give them a whirl. We'll see.

I'm off today, so it's fuds shopping for the beans, including a stop at my beloved Trader Joe's. Have a great day, everyone!

Morning Amy, I think it's looking good for Trixie. The 145 is about the same as the 138, and fingers and paws crossed she keeps sliding. I think the dose threat took effect. Good luck on the fuds. I'll have to take a look at the fish foods Rhiannon listed. It's such a balance with meeting the phosphorus levels. Have fun at Trader Joe's, my favorite store. Don't forget the chocolate.

Hi guys .. don't stress out over that +3.25 .. Like ann said it's pretty much the same as her amps which means she's got a nice little surf going on .. have a great day guys!

I was afraid she'd keep heading up for PMPS. With Trix, if she's not heading down by +2, chances are slim she'll head down at all during that cycle.

Add more to my distaste for Wellness. This evening, when I pulled the leftover can out of the fridge, I noticed the bottom of the can had a slight bulge to it. I didn't notice that this morning, when I opened the can. Fortunately, I had only used maybe a tablespoon of it, but I don't remember if I gave it to Frankie or Trixie. So far, everyone seems fine, but I'm watching them like a hawk. Needless to say, I ditched the rest of the can, and I will diligently check ALL cans before opening them.

If it ain't one thing, it's another....

Amy, If it was bad, chances are, you would have smelled it, or it would have looked odd.

Fingers and toes crossed, there was nothing wrong with the can. nailbite_smile

Hope you had a fun shopping trip. We don't have Trader Joe's .

I was thinking the same thing...it definitely didn't smell bad or look odd....but, in the grand scheme, ALL cat food is stinky!

Shopping was OK...a little rushed because I got out late. But, the beans are set for a week or so...got snacks and wine. Oh yeah, and some veggies....

Amy, paws and fingers crossed the Wellness was okay. I think you would have smelled it, too. Neat on all the TJ's hoomis fuds.

The wine is the important thing! I wish we had a Trader Joes. Alcohol sales in stores isn't allowed in Oklahoma so they won't come here.

Shopping done, yay. Ooh thanks for reminding me Amy, I forgot I had some of that chocolatey wine stuff in the fridge.
I know, we like green, but that was a nice blue surf for Miss Trixie, yes? It's nice when you can go out without worry.

It is always about going to the store for fuds, for us momma beans :lol: I don't even put catfood on my store list anymore. I try to examine the cans before I put them in my cart, but once in a while I miss one... Glad to see Trixie got the blue dress out of the closet. I hope she can come to Gobbles' party tomorrow--he is so excited to finally meet her :-D Are you gonna let her borrow some of momma bean's gorgeous jewelry???

Yes, Trix is very excited about Gobby's OTJ party. She has raided my jewelry box, so she'll be all sparkly and purdy :lol: !!

(PS: I had a sample a couple of weeks ago of a truffle from TJ's; some sort of chocolatey-salted caramel thing. Been thinking about it ever since....mmmm)
 
I love Trader Joe's, especially the Wasabe mayonnaise. I wish we had one up here!

Good luck with the fuds. I think Wellness (from the Canadian plant) always smells good. It's one of the things I really like about it. The turkey smells like turkey, ditto the chicken (those are the only ones Rusty eats because of his beef and fish allergies). I hope that your can is OK. If the kitties eat it, it's probably OK.
