There IS food in there - stalled half an hour but didn't want to stall any longer so shaved off bit to skinny 2.5. I'll keep a close eye on him until I see a good steady rise. This DID let me verify that these 2 other meters with expired strips are both working and reading fine. That means I can use those 100+ strips!!

Everyone seems to be doing well this morning. Scruffy is moving around more which makes me happy. It's gonna be a HOT HOT day, it's 82 degrees at 10am....

Hi guys .. wahooooo on that green!! Nice shooting this morning! I hope today is filled with a nice long surf for you guys .. and I hear ya on the heat .. yeck .. just today here and then it will be much cooler the rest of the week thank goodness .. have a great day guys!

I think you'll either have an exciting cycle in front of you or hopefully a slow sweet surf! Oh yes it does get hot and humid up here in MI .. I think we hit 95 yesterday .. Oh how I hate the heat ...

Looks like it's going to be the 'exciting' instead of surf... :? I sure like 'surf' a lot better but we rarely do THIS quick of a fast step!

Sure didn't expect him to stay this low! All these green numbers are propped up by food - just gave him a tbsp of HC as he still has at least 2 hours before nadir. He's wanting to take his afternoon siesta but I keep waking him to test, he's beginning to give me his 'Gracie's Stinkeye' look. Just look at today's string:

I like green but NOT this shade!

+5 - 46! 3 drops Karo on tbsp HC gravy...

First time we've had to use Karo but food isn't doing enough for him this cycle. Now I'm second guessing my decision to give even that skinny 2.5...

Easy KT, I think you've made your point about your dose. Now eat that yummy HC and karo and do something with it!

I love the story about the snorting Sniggles. That's one thing pugs are really good about. That and snoring.

HC doesn't have an instantaneous effect. It looks like KT's numbers may be coming up. See what the +6 looks like. You're doing great.

There's that rise but hope he doesn't shoot WAY up there now. I'm learning how he responds to Karo today! Wait, he's not doing anything 'like normal' so guess I'll just get clues.... :roll: Our numbers so far today:

But he's STILL green! I sure like the blues and greens we've seen over the last couple of weeks.

What a neat dance but I had to crawl under the table for one test, behind the recliner for a couple of them, down the dark hall and every once in a while in his actual testing spot. That's Rosalie's Morgaine's legacy to me - KT can't control having or not having diabetes/testing and neither can I. The more choices I can let him make, maybe it will help him feel better about having to go thru all this. As much as I can, I now let him choose where....may not mean anything but then maybe it does...

He's finally rising nicely, still in GREEN at +9 of 95! He hadn't eaten since that bit of HC/Karo when I did the +9 so that should have been just him. He's NEVER had a cycle like THIS but I like it...would like it more if it was him instead of the bottle.

What dose? Mr. Liver hasn't joined us yet but I'm not sure how many tests I can get thru the night but I'll do the absolutely best I can. Shot due at 9:45pm cst

MamaBean's a BIG chicken...I dropped too much... :roll: When his PMPS was bit less than +11, I chickened out...

I'll be doing sleep tests as much as I can....
