Happy Lupita Friday greetings to everyone.

Our condolences to those whose kitties have crossed recently....Rose and Stephanie. Our hearts are saddened for your loss.

Cheering on Flat Jack in his race to get back to the Falls!!

LBG has been doing great. She and Tobes have been glued to the catio until we force them to come in because our plethora of pregnant ground squirrels has now multiplied as the babies have all been born and are playing in the courtyard outside the catio. It's driving the kittens
Nuts! Lupita decided today that the catio needed a deep cleaning since it's been windy and for that, Missy G had to come in. I decided I'd do the dirty deed of breaking the news to her but Lupita was also on the catio with me. Miss Sassy Pants walked over to the door to come in the house and then turned and looked squarely at Lupita (even though I was the one that said "Gracie...house".). hissssssssss....it's YOUR fault Pita dat I has to go inside! hiss. hiss. hiss. But I mean it.

She's still a Lil Stinka as evidenced by her toes in the the 30s today. She recovered very quickly from her partial fur shot last Friday night; she had a little bouncy cycle or so but not too bad. I think the worse one was because the shot didn't absorb....it felt weird when the syringe went in. Just my WAG!!!

Mike and I have been down and out with really bad colds and sore throats this week. I managed to just get the sniffles when he had that sinus infection/bronchitis in Feb but it got me this time. Grrrrr because I eat really clean and exercise. We are both on the upswing now, though. With my days of work dwindling and still so much writing to do, I had to work this week regardless of my cold but only had to go in the office one day.

We hope you've all been well. After my eyes being glued to the computer all day just about every day, I have to have a break at night but I do stalk occasionally and post. I miss everyone so very much on a daily basis. If I don't get to your condo, please understand it's not because I didn't think of you and your kitty.

Have a great evening. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh how I love Lupita Fridays.........the stories are just awesome....once you retire, I think you need to write a book about Miss Gracie and her bestie Lupita with all the lil stories you have....

I see she felt that she had to pay you back for making her come in and hitting those 30s for you!

Hopefully your days will go fast, you will get everything done and retirement will be here before you know it!

Hope both you and Mike feel better soon!

My gosh Gracie do youngave to be so dramatic? Max must have been looking for you but he got out of trouble quickly.

Feel better Marje and Mike. You two sure are due for months without flu and colds.

Ground squirrel babies sounds FUN! Hey Gracie, no need for drama when the beans need their rest.

Are you counting the days to retirement yet? We'll count along with you. :bighug:

Sorry to hear that you and DH have been under the weather Marje, sending get well vines :bighug:
I think your book idea sounds great, you certainly have a way with words and keep us all entertained with Gracie's antics.

I agree that a book would be a wonderful idea for your retirement project. As if you won't have enough to do! :joyful:

Ah, ground squirrels. Pesky little creatures that used to make holes all over our back yard for me to twist an ankle in! The babies were cute, though.

Miss Gracie, it's nice to know you are still entitled to be called Lil' Stinka. Need to keep the beans on their toes, don't you? Well, maybe you should let them relax a bit until they're feeling better. Good job on seeing through the scheme to get you in off the catio. Wicked, Lupita!!! :p

Sending lots of healing vines for you and Mike, Marje.

I love the idea about the book to! I would buy a few for sure.
I often wonder how to help Lupita get along with Gracie.
You will love retirement. In fact you at wonder how you worked before. I am so glad the squirrels are happy there. We have baby bunnies everywhere!

Well, I have just discovered Lupita Fridays. Very entertaining reading. Marj is quite a a story teller. So Marj, you are an impressive caliper movie maker, a terrific guide through the insulin dose maze, a terrific daughter and wife I hear, and a gifted writer. Wow!
Hope you and your hubby are all well. Now that I am fully armed with my precision caliper measure chart I feel sure we can get Marmy,s numbers back in safe greens.
Thank you for everything.
