Yesterday's Condo:

Gobbles helped me plant flowers yesterday: As I moved around the yard, I moved his 20' lead around so I could keep an eye on him. He never once attempted to get loose--when he's gone the whole length of the lead, and can't go any further, he simply plops down and takes a rest. He imitated his drooler yesterday: I caught him squatting in the grass to take a pee, and then trying to cover it by frantically attempting to dig grass up  I told him he was more than welcome to do his business in the mulch beds so long as he digs a deep hole (the mulch is at least 4" deep) and covers it up well.
Heate gobbled 3/4 can of FF this morning--for Gobbles, that is really a lot; I haven't seen him eat that much since last summer before his diagnosis--he's once again living up to his name. DH attributes it to all the exercise and fresh air he's been getting. It is so cute when he comes in the house from outside--basically he passes out for a good while  with one of his toys.
If I didn't visit your condo yesterday, I'm very sorry (lots of yard work, etc. here) but will definitely stop in to say hello today!
I have to literally pinch myself each time I look at his SS and start a new day's condo--to all fellow FDMB members who cats are sugar cats--OTJ is possible, regardless of how long your cat has been on insulin or how many times your cat has been in remission. One day I was testing and shooting, then the next day--no insulin! And every day thereafter I had/have to close my eyes as the glucometer is registering and hope for a green number. So far, so good--he is so close to bonafide OTJ (paws crossed...!!!!)
It looks like there's gonna be a party tomorrow! party_cat Gobbles said he hopes everyone will be there. The house is decorated in purple (his favorite color which is why he favors Friskies T&G Pate) and there will be lots streamers and balloons. We have a port-a-potty en route for everyone's pleasure  I was willing to employ a clown, but Gobbles is scared of them (well, they kinda creep me out as well--even the "happy" ones) and has asked me to hire a mobile petting zoo... He raided the neighbors catnip patch and is in the process of putting a pinch of the 'nip in each balloon before blowing them up--so sharpen your nails if you'd like a taste of it!!!
As for his party outfit, I wanted him to wear the pictured one, but he is really fighting me on it--he said it makes him look like a fat baby; I say it makes him look really cute!
