Good evening LL!
(((Tricia))) - Thank you so much for your late night visit to Eddie's condo last night. I think your idea about caring for my plant the way Chris would have is the perfect way to honor his memory. :YMHUG: You're right on the PJ party - Eddie's favorite thing I think is to keep me guessing by hovering in the low 50's until the wee hours of the morning. @-)
Eddie had a big long slide down into a lovely low green surf late last night after our dosecrease back up to 1.75u. It remains to be seen whether he likes this dose or not. I have a sneaking suspicion he will let me know tonight whether he wants to keep this dose or not.
He surfed into a nice green pre-shot this morning, and I nervously tested until +3 this morning before leaving for work. He got a little food spike, but then came right back down. Then, he appears to have risen slowly up to a peak of 177 today at +10.5. I'm going to call it a bouncette. He does seem to have a pattern now of bouncing that includes a slow climb up to a mid-blue number mid-cycle, then gradually sliding back down to pre-shot. I definitely cannot complain if his bounces are limited to a short lived peak in mid-blue numbers. It sort of looks like Eddie is having gentle curve shaped cycles - they just don't coincide at all with his shot times or what a "normal" lantus curve looks like. ;-) So far, it looks like Eddie may be planning on sliding back down tonight.
We tried another new food tonight I picked up on my recent cat food shopping spree. Weruva's TruLuxe Quick and Quirky which is chicken and turkey and is 1%. It's Weruva's new "premium" line. The cats were pretty much like "meh" - more chicken and turkey, so that one won't be making it's way into the regular rotation at this time.
Hugs and vines for all beans and kitties in need tonight.
