Holy Jamoly Good Meowring from San Clemente!!!!

Mama bean is doing the happy dance this morning dancing_cat dancing_cat I can't believe it!!! What a good girl cat_pet_icon she has been working so hard.
I am so bummed I won't be here for her nadir for this cycle :-| but can check before I go. Then hopefuly I can really check for this evening cycle!!

How long will you be home? Since this is your lowest pre-shot so far, how about getting a +1 and +2? No worries if the +1 is a little higher -- it will be a food spike. I just want you to be comfortable leaving and we'll want to see how quickly Doodles is dropping and whether you'll need to leave out some MC vs. LC food.

Ok will do, cuz I am a little nervous because she drops usually a lot...but what MC vs LC food?

I usually make sure to leave her some wet food when ever I'm not home. We have a brunch to go to, after wedding stuff ;-)
then I should be home to get later numbers before her pmps.

I think I figured it out...mc is medium carbs vs low carbs? She pretty much is on low carbs under 10. No dry food at all.

She had a good +1 just a little jump for food.

Heading back to bed for another hour. Little breaks in between.

should I be worried? I've never seen these kinds of numbers!
I just got home she is a +8 78, have no idea what her nadir would have been? When is it too low?

yes I can get a +9, although I gave her some HC kibbles...hope that was right? nailbite_smile

you prob may of been ok with mc wet, but it's ok, just so u know dry takes longer to get in and longer to get out.
no worries, I've had to do that too. actually prob most of us lol

These are very safe numbers. HC isn't necessary. It looks like Doodles wants to have a late nadir today. I know you're nervous about the green numbers and testing. Please make sure to get a +11 and/or a +11.5 so we have some time to think about the PM shot if numbers are still running in the greens.

bummer about the food, you should have seen her and her brother fly to the laundry room when they heard the kibbles open!!!
I didn't think about a hc wet :-| what a learning process!

Oh man!!!

just took a +9 157 with the hc kibbles about 30 minutes ago now...this is all so freaky...

I will make sure to do a +11 and +11.5...question she is starving at 5pm her shot is at 6:30, I usually feed her a little and then again before her shot, but now that I gave her crack her number is higher,
I thought it went up a lot in a short amount of time....but if I'm feeding her won't her numbers be whacked...so,do I just not feed until before her shot?
I've been trying to get at least no food for two hours between tests...cuz she is constantly eating, but not so much today, I would say more like her normal days.

hmm...yea, u dont really want food on board before shot time (2 hour time frame) with the exception of JD today (See Dyana/JD's condo)

several here give a snack at around +9 - I did go thru that "feed me now" too close to shot time routine too - if u have any kitty treats (LC kind) like chicken treats that sometimes helps, I use to pretend I was doing dishes and Luna would leave me alone :lol:

wow, nice breakthrough for Doodles! Good job today. Do you have high carb wet food on hand? If not, then I suggest you buy some. That is the easiest way to tweak low numbers and doesn't tend to hang out in their system for as long as dry food does.
 
sucky bounce and sucky crack....great lesson tho' in the power of crack.
Heidi your a great mamabean and little doodles knows it ;-)
