Hopefully Cobb is clearing that little bounce he went on. Delayed action... grr_red It makes me irate. Okay, maybe not irate, but I don't like it. Not one bit.
Matty seems no worse for wear after his tantrum. What is SO funny about the entire thing is that we have a collection of these thermos things...purple, blue and black. I had the purple one because the top still clicks closed. We've given him the blue and black ones to play with because he likes it, but Matt dropped it and it leaks. And then the top on the black one doesn't click closed anymore. The blue one was on the floor behind him while he threw his fit!! ohmygod_smile I'm like, "Bug, there's one on the floor behind you!" Nope. That wasn't good enough. (I call him Bug because when he was little little and slept on anyone's chest, he tucked his feet up underneath him with his head on their shoulder and looked like a little ladybug. It was originally Cuddlebug or Lovebug, but it got shortened. Interesting how nicknames come to be, right?)
Anyway, Julie, Matty (like I'm sure your kids) will always be welcome in our/his home. But he can't bum off of us. If he needs help because of job loss or hard times, absolutely, but to be 28, unemployed and sit around playing video games? Absolutely not. I almost had to move back in with my parents after college because my job barely paid enough to pay for an apartment. Well, an apartment my mom would let me live in - we looked at some really cheap, but bad places. I dreaded it. I pounded the pavement until I found one I could afford.
But back on topic, Cobb is doing well this morning. He was a bit hungry. Matt is going to work an hour earlier this week so Cobb is getting fed a bit earlier so when I wake up, he's a hungry kitty.
Happy Fursday all!
