Good evening,
the night with the first blue shot went really well. Nothing crazy happened and it was not scary at all. I was sleeping very well. Today it was much higher but not as high as we used to be. So something is moving in the right direction.
In the morning Binie was not well and hided under the bed again. I don't know if it is only the itchy wound or if part of it is becoming used to the lower bg. I always expected her to be more lively when the bg is lower but it seems to be other way round. Tonight she is better. Still not active but she is purring when I pet her and she is eating on her own without handfeeding.
On friday we will see the vet again and she will take another look at the wound and treat her with antibiotics again. We are also talking about the cortisone. I am a bit conflicted because I don't want to deny Binie something which could make her feel better. On the other hand it could make her feel worse. I think if she stays stable like that I will not take the cortisone so we can sustain her progress in becoming regulated. I also got an email today that on friday the boswellia for cats arrive. I hope I can get it in and it shows some positive effect. In humans it is quite powerfull.
Tonight her curve is again going down nice and slow. I will take the chance to sleep early. Hope everyone is having a nice day! Safe surfing!
