I found the links in the last paragraph of this article to be interesting. I did go out to the Balance IT website and test out the recipe generator. What I found interesting was viewing the nutrition results both with and without the Balance IT supplimentation.
Note it will require your vet's information and permissions to get the actual recipe for any of the special needs items listed, but you can view the nutrition results of cooking a home diet. I ran this program for both Atlas and for a healthy cat. On the healthy cat it provided me with 1and 3/4's tsp daily supplimentation with the carnivore blend. In all this was an interesting program to play around with and consider given Atlas' special needs. And realizing it may not be as difficult as I thought to produce my own food for the cats.
