This morning I had a very 'fitting' awakening for a girl from New Jersey on the 'unofficial" first day of summer! The clock radio went off and as luck would have it this Jersey Girl's favorite Jersey son, Bruce Springsteen ♥ was singing "Jersey Girl" on the radio! What a nice, summery way to wake up

I was singing out loud and I heard loud PURRING and it was my Alex at my side! I continued singing and he was rolling on his back and purring and wagging his tail throughout the whole song as if he thought it was a GREAT way to start the summer too! :lol: (He and Jackson have been listening to Bruce for 13 years and if they don't really like him then they certainly do have an ear for him. I really do believe this)! ;-)

Then they both had a delicious breffis that they both loved! (I was made even more aware recently that kitties should have fuds that they LUV♥ so I'm seeing to it every day. That is a new resolution of mine)

All p's are in order with Alex and Jackson pooped so he's feeling like a new man :lol:
They are both taking their after breffis naps now.

You are exactly right! That is what happens to me when it's summer and I wake up to Bruce!!!
I am a true blue card carrying Bruce loving Jersey Girl..no doubt about it :mrgreen:

Oh I woke up to a "Bruce block" this morning at 8:00AM..when I first woke up it was BTR so I pushed the snooze button. I mean, I love it but it wont jar me awake. I missed "Rosalita" and I got the end of "Spirit in the Night", and then I heard the beginning chords of "Jersey Girl" and I was U-P UP!..with l'il Alex lying next to me Yes you are an honorary Jersey Girl, and Bruce only plays that song live in NJ...so it stands to reason that most of the other parts of the country don't care about hearing it. That would be why it's mostly played on NYC radio stations

The fuds..it's been trial and error with both of them having stomach viruses and loss of appetites we finally have decided that they both love Friskies Special Diets Foods..all of the flavors except chicken cause that is high carb. I even let them have the Ocean Whitefish and salmon(on rotation) cause they do luvs it an like I was reminded, kitties SHOULD luvs their foodies! I put chicken dust or Grandma Lucy's freeze-dried tuna on top(crushed uo) so that they will luv it even more. For snacks they get ff, liv-a-littles, and Grandma Lucy's. i just hope they keep loving this stuff!!! It's less expensive than ff and they are bigger cans! :lol:
