Morning All, ~O)

I think Mr. Zeus is feeling a little better this morning, he came and jumped on the bed when the alarm went off (30 min early so we could do the Pepcid thing), and came to the kitchen while I washed the cats overnight dishes and made my coffee. And he's been walking back and forth rubbing on my legs wanting pats and scratches. He hasn't done that for a few days. More like normal. I'm stalling his t/f/s for a few more minutes since we were late over the weekend.

Zeus is sitting on the arm of the couch staring at me :lol: Ok, time to test... Be back in a bit. Fingers crossed that his AMPS is OK, and that he eats a good breffis (I'm still taking him to the vet as soon as I can get him in... Shhh, don't tell Zeus).

ETA: Zeus is eating :smile: and now he is sampling Smokey's leftovers. Much more like normal in Zeusland.

I'm glad Zeus is feeling better this morning and acting more normal. That's great he is eating. I don't blame you, I'd still take him to the vet too.

I'm so glad to hear of normalcy in Zeusland! I think i'd do the same as you and get him to the vet anyway. I hope it turns out to be a great big nothing and it's over and done! Surf safe today Zeus!! have a good day!

Morning Kathie, glad to hear Zeus is feeling better. Cute with Zeus sitting on the arm of the couch. It always amazes me how they can tell time and when to test! :lol: Sending good Vetty vines for Zeus. I hope all is well and keep us posted. Thanks for popping in on Mags and me.

Just got back from the vet... That was fun. Miss Smokey peed in her carrier so they couldn't get any urine.... And she gave them an attitude when they drew blood :lol: Mr. Zeus was a bit off again. He's usually very mellow and purrs away during the exam. Today he didn't want any of it. He kept trying to get away, and then when the Vet was finished he just kind of crouched on the exam table. Normally he would try to get down and explore, but not today. And no purrs either. They did blood work, everything was in the normal range, including the pancreas. I wanted them to do the Spec test, but they didn't/couldn't? They only recommended watching him and to increase his insulin. Oh and they wanted me to try to purina DM food... I told her he wouldn't eat it. So I guess not a bad visit, but it didn't answer my questions as to why Zeus lost weight and why he has been acting "off".

ETA, his BG was 206 at the vet's office... +5ish.
 
I'm glad everything went well at the vet today. I hope Zeus was just having an off day or two and will be fine now.
 
Mr. Zeus was sick sometime this afternoon.... I wish I knew why he gets sick so often. He did eat pretty well tonight, and has been grazing off and on. Right now he is hiding on the porch, almost time to come in though, it's getting a little chilly.
