All in all yesterday was ok. Tuxie ran in the pinks all morning with some yellows in the evening. A bit different than his "usual" (if there is such a thing!) but at least he did not do any high bouncing.
My son's 2 sister kitties (age 6 1/2)arrived here last night for their 1 month+ stay. He is still at the old apartment for the next 4 days to finish packing. He is storing his stuff and his kitties here and will be staying with friends until the new apartment is ready. I have joined the ranks of crazy cat lady.
My civie Maxie is planted upstairs with her own litter box, food dish and water dish, since she has never gotten along with the two "kids", even when they lived here a few years back.
My sweet Tuxie is on the main floor, checking out Maxie's food upstairs, and peeking in the basement to see what the "brats" are up to.
The grandkitties have the basement with separate litter boxes, food and water. Of course they are upset from being uprooted from their home and their Dad.
So all I have to do is feed 4 kitties separately, clean out 5 litterboxes, try to keep Tuxie from getting in his sister's food or the "brats'" food, try to figure out where Tuxie has peed so I can track his pee output and referee all the cats when the "brats" come upstairs. This morning I was awakened at 2 AM to the sound of Maxie digging in the upstairs litter box
so my usual 5 hours sleep was interrupted as well.
Could be on interesting time the next month. We will see if any of this affects Tuxie's numbers. I can't imagine how some of you take care of multiple kitties with health problems. You are amazing!!

Hope the brats don't throw Tuxie off too much!
