Enjoy the paddle! We always did a bike camping trip on Memorial Day weekend. Garrison Keillor used to play a song "It never rains on Memorial Day" (female vocalist, but I can't remember her name or find it anywhere!) It used to make us laugh, 'cause we usually got drenched.

On our way Rusty! Oh Boy! BBQ!!!!!!!! Any sweet corn yet? We could grill that for the deer family! -- Tess
 
Hi again, very late!!

Thanks so much for visiting. Love the kitty paddlers, Anne & Liz! Mannie, Rusty really enjoyed having all his pals with him today chillaxin' on the porches and watching the summer people driving by.

We beans had a wonderful day: we did 9 miles on the Osgood River and on Osgood Pond, ate our lunch at an informal campsite on the river, then back to our friends' house for the picnic and barbeque (everyone brought a side dish or a dessert). My sister did great. She hadn't paddled since Columbus Day and I was proud of her for doing so well this weekend.

We are all tired and sunburned. Tomorrow my sister heads home to the Syracuse area and Edward and I and Rusty get ready to go to Camp Stu on Wednesday, when Rusty will expect many kitty visitors. (and hopefully will hang on to the great numbers he has been having lately--anti-jinx.

Sorry I didn't visit any condos today. Will catch up tomorrow.

Fabulous day for Rusty, fabulous day for you! it all sounds wonderful, and I am glad you had a good time. Kudos to your sister!! take care of those sunburns! I hear from Mannie that all was a smashing success - they BBQ'd, and paddled a little, and hang out on the porches. he said in summation: PURRFECT!
