My thoughts are with Diane today on the loss of her sweet Bailey, and still thinking of Stephanie/Eegie. :(

I am not entirely happy with just the odd toe dip in the lagoon, but I'm going to wait to play with Neko's dose until after Saturday when she's getting back to back 18 hour shots to accommodate a super long row (36 km) to the end and back of our little arm of the ocean.

In the mean time, it's sunny and Neko is alternating between heating up in the solarium, then cooling off on the kitchen floor. I got some more spontaneous purrs as she lay on the floor behind me while we had breakfast. :cool:

Yo girl kitties, time to start practicing your soccer moves. The FIFA (feline international football association) Women's World Cup is taking place in Canada starting in a couple of weeks, with the final in Vancouver. I know we'll have several strong teams, including the Americans, Australians, French and of course the Canadians. Fox News is building their own broadcast centre to show us to the world.
 
Yay for more spontaneous purrs. Those blues are nice, but hopefully Neko gives you more green.

I love soccer. Count me in.
 
Noodle would be a good goalie because he likes to hug the ball!.........and Crystal could be a ball girl until she decides to dip her toes in the lagoon.....Furball wants in .......we need a coach...who can be the coach??? Wow..this is getting exciting guys....:cat:
 
I was interested to hear you can get kangaroo over in Canada. I suppose it is frozen. How much a kilo is it over there. We can get kangaroo sausages, mince, kebabs, steak, fillet and marinated. I couldn't eat it myself.....it is a bridge too far, but I can cut it up for Sheba. I hate the idea of them shooting them but there is no other way as they are all in the wild.

Tillie can't decide who to root for in the women's football World Cup. She likes teams with orange colors, of course!
 
Looks like Crystal will have to do shore patrol has she has an aversion to getting wet, we had better start practising, I don't think the French are very good at soccer!
 
Neko, blue is a lovely color, but it gets boring when that's the only one you wear. Why not accessorize with a little green? Just a little, mind, and maybe not on Saturday morning.
 
Another day wearing the Women's USA team away jersey colours, or is she supporting Argentina? Mexico seems to be the only green team this year. That makes sense for Cinco.

Carla, Bron, Peg, Rhiannon, Anne, Suki, Tricia - She ended the day a little higher, not sure why. Today is buffalo day and it's been a while since she's had that. Both kitties hoovered it up. Maybe I should run the analysis on it so see if what the carbs are, though most of this manufacturers line seem to be 3-5%. @Bron and Sheba - I don't know how much kangaroo is per kilo here, I just remember thinking it was quite expensive. I've only seen burgers and steaks.
