5/27 Maggie

Morning all is well with Maggie girl today. Back up to yellow but hopefully a nice and safe slide this morning. Four P's so far and maybe prezzies later. She had prezzies yesterday and has been doing so well in this area, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is a no deposits day. Mag is back to dragging her mousie pole toy into the bedroom and chatting/mrrrrrowing up a storm. :lol: It's in mid rem sleep, so I pick her up and take her to bed and pet and scritch until she falls asleep. I know I will need extra Espresso and 10 Hour Energy coffee from our sweet Elsa Lil But kitteh Barista, thanks Elsa

I have an early 8:10 am Dermatologist annual skin check-up and will catch up on condos later. Living in SD for the past 31 years, I've had la few basal cell skin cancers, the least serious of the skin cancers. I'm very careful now, and this is just routine. Always lots of sunblock. I'm informed by my Dermatologist that this is catch up on all the sun bathing I did earlier years. Have a great day all.

Liz, aka Detective Poo, thanks for your visit last night. Yes, Mags was doing really well yesterday except for visiting different floors, from pink to green to blue. :lol:

Hope Mags takes that one little step to blue and then a nice little slide to green? Whaddya say Maggie? thank you! She is so cute dragging her pole toy to you! Maybe she doesn't really want to play with her pole toy...maybe she wants mom to pick her up and snuggle :lol:

Good luck with your check up. Sometimes i wish i'd never done all that sunbathing years ago! We used to put iodine in baby oil and cook ourselves ohmygod_smile

It sounds like Maggie is really feeling awesome, and wants her bean to share in the joy! I love her mouse pole stories...it's just so cute when they decide one specific toy is THE one!

Good luck with the doc appointment. It's always good to stay very on top of those things. My FIL passed away from melanoma, so DH is is pretty meticulous about going every year as a preventive measure. Both he and I have had some pretty nasty sunburns in our day...it's scary that people still bask in the sun to the extreme the way that they do!

It looks like a nice and safe slide starting if we can trust the +2!! Mags usually doesn't onset until +3 or +4 and then if she touches down to green just stays a short spell. I guess she has places and things to do! :lol:
That mouse pole toy sure is her favorite, and she loves to share it with me.
Amy, I hear ya on the sunburn and people sunbathing. So sorry about your FIL and good that DH is meticulous about preventive measures. I've also had some nasty sunburns. It is scary to see some sunbathing hours on end still these day.

Hi, Ann, I hope Maggie's safe slide continues ~ I have a kitty in the lagoon who's (im)patiently waiting for Miss Maggie to join her...
M is so sweet with her mouse pole toy! I love how much she loves it!

Nice on the +2! Blue and then maybe those greens. It looks like Maggie has given you permission to make your appt with no worries. It's a nice slide. Go Maggie!

Have a good appt. it is good that you are careful, and keep on top of things. It is amazing to me to think back on the amount of sunbathing I used to do way back when. When one is young you just don't think of what all that sun does to ones skin. so agreed on those sunburns...

Love the mouse toy. Lola her has one similar - she likes it too.

Hi, I'm back. I did a few errands afterwards. Thanks Michelle, Josie and John for the visits. This was Maggie's out the door check, and she's sleeping right now. She made a little dent in some food I left her, so I feel sure there's no cliff diving today. :lol: Mags didn't even bat an eye, so guess she's in a deep nap.
I had a good Dermatologist visit, only three or four keratoses (pre-cancerous) and she used the freezer gun on those spots, mostly on the scalp, even though most often I wear a hat.


Josie, awww ....Mags says to thank Ripley for patiently waiting on her at the Green Lagoon, maybe tonight!

Michelle, yes Mags gave me nicee safe blues. I may have accidentally skinnied her dose. Usually she has more of a nice drop at the +3!!! That's so true about the amount of sunbathing we all used to do, slathering on baby oil, eeeyikes when I think of it now!!

Hi John, I'll need to get another poke and see if Mags decided to slide any further. Yes, I got an okay report from the Dermatologist. I'm good for another year hopefully with no visit.

Soooo good on the derm visit. Minimal damage is a good thing. I'm another, who spent my youth in the sun...and I remember the iodine in the baby oil. :lol:
Gees, we slathered baby oil on ourselves and our kids, and went out to fry. :roll:
