any1 know something easy/cheap/non toxic for ants? they love wet catfood and have taken over. thanks.

Me too... I've been worrying the ants might be on there way where I live too now that it's getting warmer. Maybe someone will have a great tip.

thanks holly. i have read several good ideas. never had to deal with this bc used dry b4. flies, ants, bugs of all kinds, everywhere. eek.

Yeah - I had ants filing in through my doggy door and around the corner to the food bowl. That summer I took the food bowl off the floor but now I put it clear across the kitchen. I haven't seen the ant line since. My BF got me some good ant deterrent but I don't know what it is and never used it.

Surprisingly I've never had a bug problem of any sort with all the animal feed around here. Bats on the other hand...about once a month a flying mousie gets in the house. They get in through the old coal shoot we think because we've sealed everywhere we can find on the roof. Thankfully they've all been babies and easily caught before they get upstairs to where the Fur Gang can dispatch them. But I always know when one is in the basement because every cat in the house have their faces pressed up to the heating vents lol

wow, thats amazing. i should have known it was coming.

i love flying mousies! i went and captured one in somenes apartment many years ago, who was afraid.

Ya I love having them around because they're murder on the mosquito population even have bat boxes in the yard. They're kinda cute up close. Just kinda freak me out when I'm not expecting it and one goes zooming overhead when I go to do laundry.

Ha ha that reminds me of a small bird that flew around my apartment for hours until another one came in and led it out.
