I haven't been posting or testing as often as usual the past two days, but I've certainly noticed a huge change in Gus' #s. He's got a vet app't on Tues. afternoon. He started chewing on one side and pawing at the other yesterday. I'm putting my money on a dry socket, abcess, something of that nature. His rise in numbers directly cooresponds to the pawing at the surgical side of his face (same actions as pre-extraction). Up until then, he had his old spark and was starting to play with his old toys. He is showing no signs of distress but he didn't before his extraction, either. Evidently, he is very stoic. I'd appreciate any advice on how to handle him in the next few days, until his appt.
