All is great in CurryLand. Her numbers are looking great.
I expecting to announce in the near future that the Feline Peace Accords have been successful and the girls living harmoniously with one another. This long weekend might just do the trick since I can be around to do a little more monitoring.
We had a great night last night. Put Curry in her harness and not on the leash. The leash just scares her in the apartment. So took the leash off. She started walking around. Had to venture past Sid who was relaxing under a chair.....had a little quiet hissing.....I think they do that sometimes to let the other kitty smell their breath.....It happened again later in the evening....both had their tails up and wagging ever so slightly with curiousity.....a little more hissing and smelling this time....no chasing or howling....Yup...We are on a roll. So we start the same process again with each encounter....Crate Curry for a short time, play with Sid to tire her out, make sure their bellies are semi-full and then let Curry out, use the clicker wand to coax her past Sid , and then, hope they are somewhat civil towards one another. The harness last night seemed to subdue her....she doesn't like to run in it, so will just leave it on her when the girls interact for period of time.
Today I'm buying a birdfeeder for the patio, repotting some plants, buying a few more plants, biking and getting some gnarly grey hair cut from my head commonly known as going to the hairdresser.
Have a good one.
