Another yellow PS. But close to Monday's. Let's see if we can replicate Cobb's response. I gave a little more R...if we get the same response, maybe we can see a bit more green? Who knows.

Wendy, I like your reasoning for testing more under 200. It sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

Have a great day all!

Thank goodness you commented! I haven't filled out Cobb's SS all day. It's been a stressful, stressful day. We had our first real temper tantrum today. All because mean ole mama wouldn't give Matty the thermos full of tea. Because mama knows, if she had, the tea would have been poured out on the carpet. 30 full minutes of screaming, crying and reaching for the thermos. A bit over dramatic, don't you think?

Cobb is a bit bouncy. Time to head back down, my little orange friend!

i saw the +6 in your subject line, even though there wasn't anything on the ss after amps.

all i can say is that it's easier to deal with a 11 month old's tantrum than a 12 year old (or a 16 year old!) I always thought if you can let them know you're the boss now, they won't be running over you and throwing teenage tantrums later.

you could also say that Matty has AWESOME skills of perseverance! that's one of the lifeskills that are supposed to be developed - and in the right place at the right time, it might help him withstand peer pressure!

for you, i recommend a glass of wine! i'll join you! drinking24

i have a wonderful friend that i dearly love, but she has never been able to say no to her children. she has a son who just turned 28 who is still living with her, who doesn't work, and today i ran into her going to the ATM to withdraw money to give to him. ohmygod_smile she never has enough money and he is just a leech on her. I would call her parenting style "wishful" parenting. She used to say "I wish you'd . . . "

So kudos to you on preventing Matty from being a 28 year old who plays video games and won't move out of your apartment.
