5/28 Cabergoline with Solensia side effects

Hi. I just picked up Malcolm's cabergoline prescription. The dose is 0.5 ml every 48 hours. It's compounded with chicken flavor. My question is, should I wait a few days to start it since he had a bad reaction to the solensia shot? He had the shot on 5/20. He had been off all week, but seems to be doing a bit better. I just worry about introducing yet another med into his system too soon.
 
How many mg per ml in the cabergoline solution? How much does he weigh?

How many days ago was the Solensia shot?

The possible side effects of cabergoline are more likely to be GI issues.
 
Sounds like the right dose of cabergoline. I haven't heard of any contraindications between the two medications, but if you want you can wait until he's feeling better. The every other day of cabergoline is easier on the GI system than the every day dosing.
