Hello!
Last condo: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/...302-4-107-6-69-7-76-pmps-398-moved-in.138445/
Here are the girls in their new home! Billie found her favorite bookshelf. Brooklyn was supervising as I assembled their new cat tree.
They have both been a little up and down/stressed out, although today has been a lot better. They are easily startled by new noises - kids playing down the street, the AC, the dishwasher (enemy #1). It's funny, because it is so much quieter here than it was in our old apartment. We used to live downtown and they were totally used to the sounds of traffic, sirens, etc. So, I'm sure they'll get used to the sounds here.
Their appies were off yesterday (until I broke out the lunch meat) but they are doing well with cat food today. They're eating whatever they will eat, which is Fancy Feast and Tiki Cat salmon luau at the moment. Up until today, they would only eat in my bedroom, which is where they stayed on moving day and where most of their familiar smelling stuff is, so I guess it makes sense that they feel safest in there. I have been keeping a tray of food in the bedroom and another in the kitchen. Today they ate a decent amount in the kitchen, so that's promising.
They do seem to be having a lot of fun exploring and running around. I said in a pre-move condo that I was scared Billie would lose her routine of playing with her toys when I turn the lights out at night, but she's doing it again!!! She went nuts chasing a toy around the living room/dining room a little while ago. I took a video of her and I don't know how to upload it but maybe I can get it on youtube and link it. It made me so happy to see her play. I think she's having fun with more space to be a cat.
Time for bed (with a +4 alarm), then some more organizing and errands in the morning and hopefully some time outside in the afternoon. Sending vines to all the kitties and beans needing vines!!
