Yesterday
Morning! Well, momma got up again at 330am to get a +9 and give a small snack. She was at 121 and it looked like I woke her up from a dead sleep. This morning AMPS is looking really good - am hoping she is in the lagoon all day long again!
Oh - side note question - I was thinking a good tip maybe I should post as an OT is about having an extra battery on hand for the testing meter - I'm going to pick one up today - Im sure that will be the time when I am in a pinch when the battery is going to die on me.

I always keep a battery on hand for my meter. I have only had to replace it once so far. The original battery lasted just under one year. I also keep a second meter on hand.

Not sure why Aurora's +2 is up at 127. She just ate seconds of breakfast - had to open another can of the tiki cat aloha friends so maybe the food drove her up a little.
I don't want to go crazy testing her like I did yesterday....I will try for a +4 or +5 and let her rest for today

Not to worry about that +2, maybe a food spike or with meter variance they are basically the same number.

A back up battery is always a good idea. The meters usually give a little low battery symbol.

Mandy -I can't say I have learned anything really I will continue to shoot low but nothing else really has hit me

Yep, a flat cycle is steady and the numbers if graphed would be almost straight.

PMPS 84 I'm glad she finally came back to the lagoon and held nicely from the late afternoon check thru to this PMPS.

The reason why I asked was to see if you fed the curve or left things alone. I think with all the recent flat curves, you should be able to shoot and leave for work without needing to worry.

I agree! I'm feeling very comfortable shooting low and knowing she's not dropping to a crazy low number where I have to intervene.

Not fully understanding how she has a great +2 number and now +3 is at 100? Weird. She was on her chair beside me the whole time so it wasn't food influenced. I noticed that her left eye was watering quite a bit - I think this afternoon her and civvie Mulan traded afew swats and I'm guessing maybe her eye got skimmed. Looks fine, just watering. I took a tissue and dried it for her. I think a good night of rest will do her good. I'm not going to bug her as much tomorrow - I have been poking her since Friday so I think we have gotten some good data - tomorrow I"ll just get an AMPS, a +2 and leave her alone for the day. I'll be home but just not as much monitoring.
