This morning looked promising with a pink preshot number. However Tuxie seems to be surfing the pinks today...which is fine..much better than black or red. I used control solution to recheck my meter and it is fine.

My 2 grandkitties might be coming to stay at my house tonight for the next month+ so it could make for an interesting evening while all the kitties have their hissy fits and such. Hopefully things will settle down soon. Of course by the time they are ready to go everyone will have settled in....Murphy's law :)

Thanks! The 2 youngsters (6 1/2) lived here for a year when they were younger. My son's two and my two never got to be friends..at best it ended up being an uncomfortable truce. I know the first 4 or 5 days everyone's nose will be out of joint. I'm just hoping that they all settle into their individual corners quickly. When they were living here before they "took over" my kitty tree. That is my civie kitty Maxie's favourite spot. So she hides upstairs and keeps hoping they will go away soon. :)
 
Something does not seem right. Tuxie has never stayed in this small of a range for a whole cycle. I used control solution to recheck...I tried different strips...I tried it on the FS Lite human meter (not posted here) and the numbers remain consistent. What could be up with the numbers today?
 
I read your post on the health forum. Today was a good day. Very inspiring. I said this morning in my condo if Toby was feeling good today we were going to have a good day.

Usually when Tuxie has a bounce he hits most of the colours of the SS. I have never seen him staying in such a tight grouping of numbers all day. He ALWAYS has some sort of drop at his nadir time, which is usually around +6. So far today he is totally flat...This pattern is just NOT my Tuxie!
 
Since he's throwing you a curve, it probably means that he's got your attention! You've clearly become quite used to how Tuxie does things so he must feel it's his duty to confuse you. Welcome to the wonderful world of cats!

How true. Tuxie does seem to take pleasure from driving me crazy. :banghead:

Just did his +10 test and he is up to 448. I was worried that both my meters or the test strips were bad. This morning's cycle was definitely a first for Tuxie and me. I must have wasted 10 strips doing double testing in case of error. And the whole time the numbers were accurate. Sigh.........

Thanks for the kind words. I hope you and Toby are able to have some special time together, even if it is just cuddling. Cuddling is pretty special too!! :bighug:
