Well we survived a pretty bad storm here last night. Unfortunately, there were a few people that died from trees falling over. I just can 't believe all the terrible storms and tornadoes that have happened this week.

Simon is still higher than his normal self this morning. I just realized that my lantus vial is over 2 months old so I'm hoping that maybe that is the problem. I'll pick up a new one today to see what happens. I'm also going to schedule an appointment next week for Simon at the vet. We have never been back since he was diagnosed with the UTI and put on antibiotics. I just want to make sure the UTI is definitely cleared up.

such terrible storms, I'm sorry to hear about the deaths.
Perhaps the storms have spiked Simon's BG? Hope the new insulin will bring him back down.

Hi guys .. glad you are safe from the storms last night, sorry to hear of the others who didn't make it .. I think scheduling a check up with simon is a good idea .. I know sometimes those UTI's can be hard to clear up .. have a great day guys!
 
Finally a green number!! :mrgreen:

I didn't get a chance to come home today to test so maybe Simon is trying to tell me that he likes not being poked at lunch! Tonight, I opened a new insulin vial so we'll see what happens tonight.
