5/26 Shasta

WCR: All Ps in place. Very sweet girl this morning. Lots of head rubs, scritches and soft meows. I'm taking a small break from the Potassium supplements. I'll start back tomorrow morning w/ the supplements. Today starts underclassmen exams. 3 days of exams and then teacher post-planning on Friday! dancing_cat dancing_cat

OT: the people I board my horse with are adopting two new horses when they get back into the country. Very cool, except we still have so many questions/issues with poisonous plants in the pasture. So, finally, she is putting some money into the pasture to herbicide the pasture, plant seeds and fertilize! Praying that it's a rainy season for us.

Well Deborah, just a few more days...hooray! Teaching is not the easiest profession but it sure can be very rewarding. May you breeze through marking and report cards over the next few days.

Shasta sounds like a very kind, affectionate kitty - it's so nice to wake up to purrs as opposed to yowling. Take care, Deborah and Shasta and good luck with your horse. Sounds nightmarish - poisonous plants in the pasture. Hooves crossed for rain. Anne

Hello Anne, Michelle, Devon & Carla ~

I'm really falling behind on my FDMB duties. I'm so sorry. I really hope you all are well and kitties are fat and happy! All is mostly good here. I was a little worried about Shasta this evening. Didn't seem like she was feeling great. Not eating well...well, she ate ok when I would hold her bowl for her and coax her, but even then...not the best appy. Also, she was acting very aloof. I just got out of my shower and lo and behold...she pooped and all was well with the world. Oh, what a good poop will do for our mood! :lol: It is waaaay past my bedtime and now I only have 5 hours to sleep, so with that said, I say good night. 2 more days with students!!!!! I can do this. @-)
