You saw blue, a bounce to pink and then a 100 point drop. It looks like that bounce is clearing nicely. I'd be curious to see what a +3 or +4 shows!

Hi Ruth,

looking verra nice

Just popping in as weighed down big time at work.
Have managedto get hold of my friend and I know it's close to you guys going away but the details of the cattery that was happy to adinister insulin t my freinds cat Ronnie are:

Wenlock Cattery (Much Wenlock)
Ladys name is Lesley.
01952 727902.

Rhinog would need to be a compiant kitty (unlike Lucky  ) and she might acept him.
I would consider as I said oon your health thread that you cut his dose if their not testing andif you can keep in touch with them he would be fine.
Need to remember that the lantus buids up a shed so although still yellows and blues he could easily hit green quick.
Also supply HC food to them in case.

Hope you have a good holiday

Thanks both,

Not sure I can stay awake for +4 tonight.

Kate, great to have that number if we need it. Thank you and thank your friend. I've just posted an update on health but basically I'm my mother and father in-law have agreed to look after Rhinog! We're been round tonight for lessons.

I agree he could go green quickly. That's why I've insisted they learn to home test as well as give shots and also why he will be staying at their house so they can be around most of the day.

I can't believe we're actually going on holiday. We so need one. In the last two months Rhinog had surgery and had the lymphoma confirmed, his diabetes returned, my daughter broke her elbow and needed surgery and wires to hold it together, we started building work on the house and have had to move out, my husband started working away during the week and my grandma passed away last week. We really need this holiday!

Ruth

Just caught up.

That's fab news about your in-laws. I'm sure Rhinog will bring DFIL round to

Heather and I found that kitties felt a bit better if they had something with them that smelt of us-so if you have a scarf/small blanket that you've worn, found this helps.

Also any other familiar blankets/baskets they usually use.

Have a fabulous holiday, sounds like you all need it drinking09
