Yesterday's Condo
Now, that's a much better place to start the day! I woke up to purrs. I do miss that when I travel. Both cats are circling the kitchen waiting for more food. I think they got used to getting a heaping bowl of Wellness from the petsitter! (It's better to have them circling, though. My sister's kitten would come into the kitchen for breakfast and yell until he got fed.)
Yesterday was Gabby's 5 year anniversary of her diabetes diagnosis. At the time of diagnosis, she was a very sick kitty. In a way, the diabetes was the least critical of the problems. She had pancreatitis, hepatic lipidosis, and diabetic ketoacidosis. My vet and the vet at the ICU both gently told me that not all cats survive. They don't know Gabby. Three days later she was home. She's a fighter. It took me a while to find FDMB but we did find our way here and the rest is history.
