Yesterday's Holy Guacamole Wake Up Call
I was so happy to see Cinco hit the lagoon today. I was hoping, but didn't really expect a green this soon after his reducie. Of course, I know the depot is still in play, but I'm gonna be happy anyway!
The bounce wasn't as bad as I'd feared, and he's cleared it quickly, so paws crossed that he settles into this dose and likes it! (anti-jinx)
Minka is having another bad day. No appy, seems uncomfortable, but not as bad as before. I gave her some SEB a couple of hours ago, and some Bupe about 30 minutes ago. Then, a few minutes ago I heard "that sound" and went out into the hall to see her hopping down the stairs after throwing up what little she had in her tummy.
I would have thought the SEB would have worked by then, but I guess not. I'm hoping she got rid of the problem and will feel better now.
Got a call from UCD bright and early
this morning. They needed to reschedule Cinco's & Sasha's appointment. He didn't say, but I suspect an oncologist called in sick or something. Their schedules are always packed, so any disruption like that messes it all up. Since it isn't urgent, we rescheduled for next Wednesday. I went btb for an hour or so.
I would have stayed longer, but Sasha wanted me up. Man, she has a cold nose and knows how to use it! 
Sasha is doing well. She is so funny when there is baby food in the air. She doesn't let her handicap stop her from trying to get to it. I was trying to get Minka to eat some and here came Sasha, wanting to climb right over DH to get to the bowl on his desk in front of Minka! I ended up giving it to her, since Minka didn't want anything to do with it after about two miniscule licks. When I was doing Minka's fluids, I had three plates of different cat foods and a dish with some baby food in front of her, all of which she was ignoring, and here came Cinco, trying to get up on the loveseat! He could smell that baby food! He never does anything like that. It made me smile and I gave him the baby food as his treat at his next test. That stuff is kitty crack around here.
Harvey got his share, too. He made sure of that. He didn't like this morning's entree, but ate the alternative with enthusiasm, so I wasn't worried. I'm running out of foods to try. I hate to bring in new ones, as then we get digestive issues, but they're turning down the familiar stuff more and more! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! This is why beans get gray hair!!!
Since I don't have to go anywhere today, I'm going to move up litter box changing day to today - it was scheduled for Friday. I've noticed some liners that have rips in them, so I want to get them done before I end up having to scrub boxes. So I guess I'd better get busy.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans, especially Carla & Callie, Deanna & Billie, and Georgia & Simon.
