Wow!! What a day yesterday!! That calls for many of these ~O) ~O) ~O) I had about three hours of sleep last night, but I'll have time to take a nap today so no biggie. I checked a +11 on Champ this morning and it was a 298 so in one hour he went up 68 points! Goodness!

There's no one who can tell me that my cat can't tell time. He came into my office at exactly 5:58 this morning to let me know it was time to get to the kitchen for his 6:00 test, feed, shoot. I don't know that I need the alarm set on my phone anymore...Champ is just as effective and not as annoying as the alarm. :lol:

Well, I have a busy day with work this morning, but will be back after 10 a.m. to go through some condos. BTW...thanks to everyone (Marje, Sienne, Jill, Laurie, Libby, Tracy, Michelle, Ronnie, Julie, Ella) who kept me company, made me laugh, gave me advice, and just overall made last night seem like a really awesome party!!! I really appreciate it. This process is less like a chore when I have so many friends (and I consider all you my friends, virtual or not) to share it with. Thanks!! :-D

I missed last night's party, darn! I will have to go back and see what I missed! Hopefully, it wasn't too stressful for you and Champ is doing some small bouncing today. Have a good day at work!

I'm sorry I pooped out early, I missed the best part of the cycle last night! Look at that SS...gorgeous! :mrgreen: Let's see another day like yesterday, Champ!

Hi guys, yes, going up 68 points in an hour stinks, but i know mocha could easily double that amount in an hour :lol: Like the fact that champ is already yellow at +2.5 .. Isn't it crazy how time sensitive these cats are? Both girls in this house know when it's time to get up and time to go to bed, and they don't like their schedule messed with .. Crud! I missed the best part of the party too.. You must be exhausted. I'm glad that you'll be able to catch up at least a little bit of sleep today. I want to tell you again that i think you are doing an amazing job with Champ and both of you are so very lucky to have one another! I hope that +2.5 is just the start of more pretty colors in Champs day..

what? champ's already awake after his wild night? :lol: a bounce is expected . . . he'll come back down.

punkin can tell time too - but he always tries to get us to think it's time to eat before the actual clock says it is. he loves his food. yesterday morning i fell back asleep in the living room chair and everytime i opened my eyes he was parked on the coffee table staring at me. :shock: like that. so that i would wake up and give him his second breakfast! it worked too! :lol:

Geez would someone tell these kitties its not cool to bounce, Leo started out at 475! Yikes!! But Champer will have a nice day with some more greens, i hope, fingers crossed. Maybe Julie will stop by with her crystal ball and say the same thing.

And you're welcome for the company last night, it was my pleasure :-D And i totally agree with kitties having their own internal clocks, they really are creatures of habit, i know Leo is anyway.

Ahhhhh...finally done with my morning deadlines!! I can now take a breather and, because it's Friday, I may just take the afternoon off and work a little tomorrow instead. Or maybe not. I really want to empty out my office and get it painted and put stuff up on the walls, make it more bearable to be in the place I like least. I need Michelle to talk to me about motivation and exercise and staying active and...geez, I'm already tired!!!!

Champ has already done the pink, yellow, blue this morning so maybe we'll get to green!!!

Linda - hopefully there will other green parties for you to attend!!! And throw!!! Champ's numbers really didn't go low enough to be stressful, just low enough so I couldn't go to bed!! :shock:

Laurie - no problem you pooping out (that didn't sound right, did it?!), but you were missed! :lol:

Devon - i used to search for your condo until I realized you didn't have one so I'm very glad you visit Champ's so I can "see" you. I always enjoy your posts!! :-D

Sienne - he did come down 68 points...and then another 90!!! I sure wish he'd take his time, or maybe not start so high so he didn't have to dive to get to the number he obviously wants to get to!!! Oh well, I'll take low numbers however I have to get them at this point!! :mrgreen:

Squirrel - i took a quick 30 minute nap and feel pretty rejuvenated right now, though I'm sure it will catch up with me!! Thanks so much for the pat on the back...much appreciated. You know as well as I that this can be such a discouraging day-to-day grind so, while it's nice Champ is doing well, it's really nice you noticed I had something to do with it. :lol: :lol:

Julie - I can just see the look on Punkin's face and hear him thinking, "If I keep staring at her like this, I'm totally gonna freak her out. She'll feed me just so I'll go away." Oh, the kitty with a one track mind, ruled by his stomach :lol:

Tracy - it just wouldn't be a party without you!! I can't wait until I get to stay up for you and Leo!! :-D

Ann - :lol: :lol: How funny you picked that pair. I used to live in England (dad in the Air Force) and loved that show!! Those girls are what you call "broads." :lol: :lol:

Hi Roni! I am learning to catch cat naps when I can. Thank goodness I have a comfortable sofa in my office to lie down on cuz if I were to lie down on my bed, I'd never get back up!! :lol:

Since it seems Champ has stopped his downward descent this afternoon, I going to leave his little ears alone until shot time. Besides, he's curled up in his basket with his paws crossed over his eyes and I just don't want to disturb him. I took a picture, but for some reason I can't get it to load :?

Looks like Champ has decided to give me a break tonight. I'm not going to check him again until +6. Unfortunately, I didn't order any test strips from ebay until yesterday and I'm on my last 20 here. I DO NOT want to have to buy any at the store. These Accu-Chek Aviva strips are sooo expensive. Again unfortunately, I lent my Relion meter, which has cheaper strips, to my next door neighbor so she could start hometesting her cat. I thought she would have bought her own meter by now, but I'm not going to pressure her because I want her to keep hometesting!!

So just because Champ isn't going to be having a green pj party tonight doesn't mean someone else can't. Who wants to host the party tonight?!!!

Tell me about the price of those darn strips. I bought my first 100 ever at walmart and it was $83 for 100....yikes! Here in Saskatchewan when you're over 65 any prescription is $15, so since my father (who is 70) is a diabetic who is controlled by pills and diet, he has a prescription for strips, so long story short.......he buys Leo strips for $15 for 100!!! Are strips like half the price on ebay?

Get some shut eye while you can, while your little stinker is bouncing.

Hey Patty!!! Well, I've been up all day ...seems like I never went to bed either....but the durn day got away from me so I am just now visiting condos. Great night for Chompers last night and man can he break a bounce fast!!! That is so funny about no more alarm clock.....Gracie doesn't usually wake me in the morning (Teddi does that) but man if I am late for her +1, +2, +3 I hear about it!!! Well, actually, I don't hear because she is a quiet girl but she sits and stares at me and then tries the headbutt somersault routine.

Sorry I pooped out on you, too, last night. Usually about midnight, I go into sleep an hour, get up and test, sleep an hour, etc etc. You did great. Looks like you will get that rest tonight!!

You are doing so awesome...I love your condo...always da bomb!
