So he has some Levemir in him now that last night's shot seems to have been correctly injected. I do notice that he lets me leave the needle in his skin now where as with the Lantus, it had to be in and out - grab snack and go.
Oh and a question for Lev users. I picked up the insulin after filing a formal complaint with my Post Office and a request that my mail carrier be RETRAINED in reading his meter which vividly said that a signature could be waived... anyway...
What I didn't realize is that I ordered and got cartridges - no pen. I assume these will work without the pen attached but I am not sure. Will the plunger drop as the contents decrease? Has anybody used the cartridges without the pen attached?
Yep they work the same as the pens. They are basically just the guts of the pens. I actually like them better than the full pens when I have to travel with a kitty because they fit better in my insulated carrier.
