5/27/22 Kaz - PMPS 98 - too low to shoot

Next time he's like that, how about trying a little bit more insulin (as long as you can monitor). I see that by +5 he was back in the yellow and this morning in the red (now yellow). Then you can see how he does with a little more. He was having a late nadir yesterday, I would say. Then, gradually, your comfort level with shooting green will increase. What do you think @Bron and Sheba (GA)? It's night time in Australia now, but later on, take a look and let us know what you think.

I can bring it up slightly to .75 and see what that does. Glad I did not do that last night as I crashed last night and went back to bed this morning for a couple extra hours.

I would start a new thread on the main forum and ask there.
I’ll also ask around. Not sure if I can help. I will try.
I would say which county or state you live in but don’t give a address online.
Put in the subject line…… ‘Petsitter arrangement fallen through. Live in xxxx.can you help? URGENT.
Then explain what is happening in the thread.

So Kaz has been dropping since PMPS shot hes now at 55.
So I would usually give him 15% or more carbs right now but I am asking before doing it as you had said that you did not want me to do this. He is very close to lime green so if either of you are on could you tell me what % carb would you like me to feed him?
 
If you want to see if he can get a reduction you can not feed and test again in 30 mins after the last test OR you can give him some normal low carb food and test again in 30 mins. He is probably close to nadir and will rise for the next Preshot

Sorry yesterday not a good day and I ended up giving high carb food as I was tired I assumed no one was around by that time in the morning.

I am going to have to let this other girl know if I want to use her soon as I may lose her otherwise and it's better to have someone for all but two days and try to teach them the shots than have no one.
