Amps/245.
Giving 4 carb. He usually eats 2oz.
Takes his meds & 2.75u of insulin at 645am.

He is doing well. Still playing and talking to his toy at 1am...lol

Ok. 2pm. +7.4/181.
???
Had big issue pricking his ear. Pricked about 8 times and used 4 strips to get the bg. His ears are so cold. I keep rubbing them, making him shake his head, breathing on them. I cant even see any veins at all. What is going on??

Last 2 times he was at blues at this time he dropped to 120 and 77 by pmps time.
So I will be needing those ears tonight.

Before I fed him blindly with carbs & didnt test much. Now I got used to testing and using those bgs to know what carb to give and now his ears cant handle it.
So how do I go back to blind feeding?

Have you tried warming the ears with a rice sock? Put some rice in a small sock, microwave until warm (make sure to test on your own ear to see if it is too hot!), hold against the cat's ear to warm. Some people also use warm water in an empty Rx bottle.

Any clue???
I gave 7 carb. And gonna test shortly
