Stella has everything in place and is happy happy this early am. I thought I was going BTB...but I didn't ... lot's of extra presents in the LB today. Mostly from Boo. Funny, on the current food if they miss a day...they both make up for it the next day. Weird!

I almost gave Stella another injection of 'air'. I just tossed the solostar pen and started a new pen this morning. I don't know if I was having issues with the pen because it was nearly empty, or the new syringes which are the same name brand, but seem to be made of new materials. Why do brands change things up to mess things up. Did anyone else notice the BD syringes are a different plastic? At any rate, I will have to keep an eye on Stella because this new pen may be more potent...and who knows how many times I injected air!!!

To all of those who stopped in yesterday, thanks for the well wishes on Stella. No more tests at the vet at this time. The vet is addng a med to see if that adjustment works. Stella mystifies him. I think he though she would have lost weight on the BP meds she is on, and when she gained it he chuckled saying how different she is. Maybe Stella is here to teach him a few things too. :lol: I don't know when the new meds will arrive, I am sure next week after the holiday.

Moring Mary - Hope Stella has a nice, safe surf for you today! I was also going to go BTB, but my nerves got the best of it. My DGD is being released from the NICU unit and coming home to my DD's today. I have to go to her house to watch my 21 month DGS, while new baby is being picked up. My tummy/heart are full of excitement!

I just ordered the Terumo(sp) syringes - I had been using the Relion, but this last batch of them have the lines so crooked, it isn't funny. I throw out (properly dispose of!) about 3 of the package of 10! So, time for something better.
Cleo started this LB problem right after diagnosis. It is greatly improved from it's worse. Hope it all goes away eventually. She likes to stand when she pees, and it goes over the opening of the litter box!

Wow Cleo & Jane how exciting about the baby! No wonder you couldn't get BTB! Thanks Knolet on the well wishes...I am crossing fingers Stella gets a good ride from the new meds on the way and the new pen... she deserves some more green days!
 
Hi, Mary, good luck with the new pen. I hope Stella is going to wear her pretty blue dress today, with such a low yellow amps.

Hi Mary ~O) ~O) I know it probably seems a little late in the day to have a few coffees, but I need to make one for myself! I don't know why brands do that; maybe they're using cheaper materials? Cat food companies do the same with their formulas, so sometimes I wonder if the carb counts are accurate past the date that Dr. Lisa updates her list...As for Stella mystify your vet--she's a cat and they do love to be mysterious from time to time--ECID :-D Have a wonderful weekend!
