I think Snickers is feeling better. It's a little easier to get blood out of his ear, so maybe he's not dehydrated anymore.

His glucose seems to be steady all day long. I want to get a test after his night shot, but it's hard to stay awake that long.

I'm giving his shots at 2 pm and 2 am. I'm a night owl, and the 2 am is no problem. But by 4 or 5 I'm not clear minded any more. Whenever I start moving the time back, something happens and we're back at 2 again. It's our magic number.

Would a +2 be very useful, or do I really need a +3?

For most cats, a +2 is useful to predict what the cycle will look like. But not for all, my girl was one of the exceptions. The only way to know is to consistently get a +2 for a while, especially when you can get a mid cycle test too, to see if it works for Snickers.
