First Sunday Funday of the summer!

WCR: All Ps in place. Got a few snuggles when I was falling asleep, but then she left the bed. I got a few more snuggles at the end of my btb time. I think she was just hungry for a change of food! She's now napping in her window bed. I hate that she's already coming up and it's only +4.5. Oh well.

WHR: Feeling ok today. Icing back right now. Going shopping in a little bit.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Especially all of you who are dealing with wild and crazy weather. Be safe! Blessings!

Hello Rhiannon, Marje, Liz/Anne, Josie & Carla ~

Rhiannon, you are correct...SUMMER IS HERE! WATCH OUT WORLD...THE GIRL WITH THE BUM BACK, HER LAME HORSE & DIABETIC CAT ARE LIVIN' IT UP THIS SUMMER...chillin' at home, crafting, shopping and doing work at school. :-D Marje & Liz/Anne, you spoke and she listened...74! She literally just ate, so now I'm praying for a little surfin'! Josie, Sundays are only Fundays when I don't have school the next day! :-D Carla, I'm icing my back again because I've done lots of squatting, spray painting, picking up, etc. and my back was just sore...so ice pack on and constantly shifting so as not to freeze one part of my body off!!! :razz:

So, my shopping today makes me laugh. I decided to run by Hancock Fabrics because they usually have pretty decent sales around holidays. Well, I decided to buy a fabric I've been eyeballing for a while...don't know what I will make out of it...but I have it...along with a ton of other pieces of material I don't know what I'm going to do with. Did I mention that I really don't know how to sew!!! So then, I noticed that they had Butterick & McCall patterns for 99 cents. I bought 10 patterns. Did I mention that I really don't know how to sew!!!! :lol: Several of them are retro patterns and I love the retro styles. I continue to think that I missed my era...1940's and 1950's are my faves! I look back on pics of my mom when she was a young lady and she was so gorgeous...hair, clothing, make-up. Then she reminds me that it took a lot of "getting ready"...a lot of time that I never have (except during the summer!) Anyways, I'm going back tomorrow and buying more junk that I don't need and don't have any use for right now...but one day I will need and use! I'll also head back to Hobby Lobby for more drawer knobs and if they have that isle blocked off for more inventory, I'm bustin' down the barricades! :shock:

Ah, the life of a teacher on summer break! ;-) Hope you are all doing well and have happy sweet kitties to snuggle with tonight! (mine is snoring in my ear from the back of the couch :-D )
