WCR: Some Ps in place. She's still not eating well and not pooping consistently. I added miralax to several meals and then ran into the problem that she wouldn't eat her fuds. She seems like she wants to be active, but then I know she doesn't feel well. I'm starting to think that she does suffer from chronic p-titis. I know her sinuses are still bothering her and that does affect her appy, but I think it's a bit more than just sinuses.

So, yesterday, I made a toilet lid cover specifically so that Shasta could jump up on the sink with an added bit of confidence. In the past, I noticed that when she would try to jump from toilet to sink, she would get ready to get ready to get ready to jump and often time she would lose her grip/footing on the slick toilet lid. I put her on the newly made toilet lid cover last night and in typical cat form...she jumped off and walked away. :rolleyes: This morning, however, she jumped onto the toilet lid and sniffed at the new cover and then, in one swift move, she jumped up onto the sink! :woot::woot: :joyful::joyful:

OT: 5 more days with students! :woot::woot: :joyful::joyful:

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Morning Deborah :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Good appy and feel better vines for Shasta. Add sinuses to the mix, poor Shasta. I ran into that problem with the Miralax too. It got to the point that Mannie always knew when I had added anything to his fuds. He wouldn't eat it then. At first it worked great, it was my go to method for pills, anything. Then he got wise, and would eat all but the part hat had the meds. :rolleyes: Darn cats are so smart!

Awesome job on the toilet seat cover. YAY! and one happy kitty too! :joyful:

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well. Summer vacation looms! :cool:

My civvie Frankie is sometimes a little fussy with the Miralax I put in her fuds, too. Any chance you could syringe it in, mixed with a little water? If she does have chronic p-titis, she would probably benefit from anti-nausea meds - cerenia, ondansetron, or both. This could be something to talk to her vetty about.

I love that you made a special toilet seat cover for her - and that SHE loves it, too :joyful::joyful::kiss::joyful:!

Have a great day, Deborah - the end of the school year is in sight...yay!
