So the bounce begins! But that's ok, I'd rather her bounce after a cycle and a half in good numbers instead of bouncing after 3 hours there. Thanks for stopping in last night April, Rhiannon, Suki, Chris, and Tricia. I passed out and slept through all my alarms, again. I think I'll have to start sleeping on the couch if I plan to get overnight tests. I just sleep too heavily otherwise.

Noodles feeling good enough this morning. She came on the bed to see what was taking me so long (moving her shot time back a little), but hasn't been really interested in her breffis yet. She ate a little and wandered off after her shot, we'll see what she does later.

@Tricia & Cinco Yes, my mom is watching her again. She seems a little more comfortable with it now than she was last time. I think the new Relion Plus strips are going to help a lot when it comes to getting a successful test, too, though she won't get more than PS tests I'm sure.

Have a great day, L&LL! Vines to all in need. And if anyone feels like me after the long weekend, coffee for all! :coffee::coffee:

Bounce be gone! We knew you were coming so now you can leave. Have a great day Patricia. I don't go to bed until I'm done testing. My couch is getting a lot of my time. Have a great day.

Well, darn on the bounce, but at least she's coming down again. Noodle, no need for dramatics. How about a nice, smooth slide down to the blue floor? It's very relaxing and comfy there.

Still a little bouncy tonight! I was clipping her nails at PMPS and for the first time ever I got the quick and she started bleeding. I felt HORRIBLE, despite the fact that I poke her for BG tests 6+ times per day. What's funny is she throws fits when getting her nails trimmed, but stopped fussing when I actually hurt her. Poor thing :(

Thanks for stopping in with the anti-bounce vines, Carla, Elise, and Tricia. I'm not too mad with her bouncing. It gives me some time to get everything sorted for the trip... and also to start my fretting about leaving for so long. It's amazing how strongly I'm feeling both excitement and guilt. :nailbiting::woot:

know that feeling...
want to go somewhere but then I worry constantly if I do...
I think the grass is always on fire on the other side of the fence.... ( think that saying will catch on ) ;)

No higher than pink tonight please Noodle - little bounces are OK but that's far enough now please!

Isn't it weird how we can give shots and test their BG and yet they all seem to go nuts over nail trimming? I have to take both my 2 to the vet to get their nails trimmed because trying to do it at home is just asking for an ER visit (for me, not the cats). Though I am trying to train Rosa at least to let me do hers at home to avoid the stress of a vet visit every couple of months. I'm sure Noodle will be just fine by now - from what I've heard it isn't something that usually bothers them for more than a few minutes.

I hope your trip preparation is going well. You need the break - everyone needs time out now and then - and your Mom will do just fine with Noodle while you're away. And of course she can always ask here if there's anything she's not sure about - there's always backup here for any questions she might have. :)
