I think my new favorite color has to be green.... green at the end of a rainbow. :cool: Mannie hit them all yesterday: Rainbow Bandit decided he wanted to say hello to everybody, make an appearance, so he did. It was great to see the pinks fade, ending with a gorgeous green cycle last night. Way to go Mannie - you did good. cat_pet_icon One of the things I've liked about Mannie's recent good fortune in this BG dance is the ability to maintain cycles, when he goes low green, with a lower carb food. How great is that! :cool: :razz: :razz: I hope it lasts..... We have a decent 224 this morning, and I am looking forward to seeing what he can do with it.

News from Mannie Central!: DGS must now be an ok dude. :-D We no longer flee to the basement, slink around corners, peer warily from behind tables or chairs.... We now watch, observe, supervise. We check out toys. We stay in the same room. We sleep within ear shot. Life has evolved in MannieLand. :cool: :cool: :razz: :razz: :razz: One of these days best buds.... :-D This morning things are as they always are: purrs, meows, rubs. :cool: Clean plate club: yep! :-D auto feeder ignored: yep! :roll: and the best part of the morning for the Nanner King?.... wait for it..... wait for it...... wait for it...... yep: NANNERS! well duh. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Friends!!! what an OTJ party last night!! oooooooooo - Quebec is so cool! and we didn't get busted at the border crossing - SWEET! and that after party at the green lagoon! even better!!! I feel great today - what shall we do? Dune buggys? Beach combing? bumper cars? para-sailing? hang-gliding in the dessert? Chillaxin' by the pool? oooooooo - road trippin'! Nice to see all the colors in ONE day! My goodness what a couple of cycles......Yay Mannie for figuring out DGS is an OK little person and no reason to be afraid. Glad things are going so well in Mannie's world!

Wow, what a nice WCR on Mannie. I bet he sees greens later, and so happy Mannie and DGS are getting closer. I can see Mannie guarding him. I have missed yours and so many condos the last two days but hope to get back on track today. Thanks so much for all your support and visits. Enjoy your DGS today and have fun.

Hi guys .. mannie's numbers are looking so nice lately! This yellow isn't a bad place to start, but mannie, you are going the wrong way at your +2 .. come on back down! Hi Melissa - Thanks, me too. He's a good little guy, so easy to care for. FUN! Mannie is beginning to think so too... though this morning he was back to the basement, after I was so complementary this AM about him not going there. :lol:

Morning Miriam - thanks for the visit! I hope he will - the +4 is back to the right direction- YAY!

Hi Sherry - yep - been a great couple of days - love it! And hope it is her to stay... paws crossed! It is nice that he is coming around as far as DGS goes - those sounds are now familiar ones, so he's doing well with him.

Hi Christie - thx! Me too on the DGS thing - what a relief. Looks like he is turning the numbers around, so maybe another great day for him. HOPE! :-D

HI Ann, and Miss Maggie - me too on DGS. I think you are right on him guarding him - he spent most of yesterday watching - his form of security. It will all eventually be good. And no worries on the condo visits over the past few days - you've had alot on your plate, what with Maggie's dental and all. I know how stressed out you were - it was the same for me with Mannie's dental in January. The issues we had were a little different than Maggie's, but were also tied in with anesthesia - Two days of omg's! So... I do understand. You did so well with her. :-D :-D and thx on DGS - as soon as he wakes up from his nap, and after breffis #2 we are off for a sort hike to the shore - i hope the weather holds!!!

Hi Devon - I think he read your post - turn around he did. YAY!! maybe just a food spike at the +2, possible I suppose even with an LC. and yes - I am so glad the the relationship between Mannie and my DGS gets better every week.

Good afternoon Michelle!!

Mannie has made spectacular progress and it is always so great when they can get into the lower numbers and surf without the MC/HC foods.....I think Mannie, Tess, and Gracie have made great strides in that department. Mannie has become so consistent and it's great to see how quickly he clears the bounces but also that he's getting lower numbers earlier in his cycle.

Also glad he has accepted DGS!!! That must make things much more pleasant.

Hope you have a great day. Sorry I haven't been around much this week...work, long days, short evenings with Mike.

Mannie...so we're going to Rusty's? COOOL!!! It's starting to get warm here so I think it'll be nice and cool there for us on Rusty's patios!! See you soon!

Hi Marje - so agreed on the fuds - that is a welcome relief. I've had a day here and there where I needed HC, but it was nice that it wasn't for the entire cycle like it used to be. and yes on the cycles and the numbers. Paws crossed that this is the new Mannie... :razz: It is nice with him and DGS - makes it easier. :cool: :cool: :-D :-D :-D And no worries on the being busy - home tie is important!

HI Patty - I am sure he will. When he was a kitten he use to sleep with my sons- did for years until they moved out. I have no doubt that he will find Nicholas's bed too. :cool: :lol:

Hi Ann - that it is! It is nice not to see them lingering "up there". Had a good time with DGS today - took a short hike down to the shore. We ended up with a sunny day (go figure...), so I figured: why not? He had I good time I think - was very fascinated with the waves as they came into shore. A train went by before he left - that was fun - sure got his attention. I hope to hike over the weekend - not too sure where, what with the holiday and all that just bogs down the freeways and the mtn passes, and then I end up missing Mannie's window :shock: :o .... so, hopefully yes, just not sure where. :-D

Tess - you are on! Rusty's it is - I LUBS THEM PORCHES! I gotta get Maggie and then I will be at your place. You wanna take the furrari? oh: an affirmative on the bailing - bucket brigade to the rescue! ~~ Mannie

We are down to a few basics, ones the others like too, It is so much better. Though I do have my pantry stocked with the "good fuds", just in case... anti-jinx..... :lol: :lol:

Just getting caught up on your good day. Mannie and Nicholas are really getting to know each other. That's so cool! The walk to the shore must have been beautiful and so interesting for the little guy.
Evening cycle looks to be shaping up nicely. Go for it, Mannie!

Ella (thanks, Mannie, for bringing the gang to chillax, even though it was unseasonably warm and muggy--and then the big storms! I hope you got home before they hit!)

Yo Mannie, We did quite bit of bailing after the heavy rain. It's good you left before the electricity went out, though. It was pretty dark in the cellar!! Thanks for helping!

Hi Ella - Yep - "the boys" are getting better with one another, In time - it will all be good. At least now he doesn't flee. The other two come and sit by Nicholas all the time - he gets so excited when he sees them - and he LOVES their tails - :lol: :lol: :lol: We did have a nice hike to the shore - he loves to be outdoors - everything catches his eye, wants to touch everything (which is a no no on the trail - some of that stuff has quite the ouch effect when touched). The shore was a big hit too - really liked to watch the waves. Yep - great time! and he only fell asleep during the last 15 minutes on the way home. :lol: :lol:

Miss Ella??? I LIKE big storms!!!! But I was good, and got everyone home safely. we had fun on ther porch - Rusty showed us all the thing from his garden - it was cool. ~~ Mannie

Looks like Mannie and Champ have talked...both blue, both climbing. Of course, Mannie being more experienced, he'll probably know when to flatten out before going too high whereas Champ will just keep going!! :lol:

Hi Patty - ahhhhh..... so the boys have been discussing strategies... Blue seems to be their color choice. :lol: Mannie has leveled out - I asked him to be sure and talk with Champ to make sure he knows that surf is the goal, flat is good, bouncing and traveling to the stratosphere is not so good...

Hi Barb - oh yes, you are so right, on all counts.... Just when I think I have him figured out he mixes things up. :roll: I could go for a nice blue surf. :cool:

Hi Squirrel - I like consistent! I remember too well the days that were far from that: the constant daily cliff dives, the excessive use of trampolines, and the never ending supply of bungees. There is a reason he was/is known as the fdmb olympic diving champion. :lol: :lol: This consistency is indeed nice to see. -- and thanks on the rest.

Hi Ann - nice cycle, huh. I kinda like this one. good numbers, but ones I don't have to fuss over - he's surfin' all on his own. anti-jnx! and yes: DGS loves being outdoors. It's kinda funny: I have this backpack where I can carry him on my front, so he can see where he is going. All I have to do it get the pack out, and he gets so excited. he knows he is headed outside. He really seems to love it. YAY! Good I think. :-D :-D

well, this bean is toast. Been a long, but great,day. I plan on taking advantage of not having to stay up late with Mannie. Thanks big guy!
