I am not sure what is going on here - she was slightly high last night for PMPS but I wasn't all that surprised. We had tornados and severe storms much of the morning here - so sirens were going off and lots of wind etc. to make her nervous. This morning's 254 IS a surprise. I rechecked and got 294. We're going with 254 for my sanity!

I am hoping perhaps the roommates forgot some of their cat's dry food. She ate breakfast normally, has used the LB and has been playing with their cat a bit this morning. So acting very normal and not like a cat that isn't feeling well at the moment. Of course I am due to leave out of town for a long weekend tomorrow morning. Have been very much looking forward to this trip.

I still haven't figured out how to add in her new SS to my signature but this is the link: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreads ... -vQH&hl=en

Let's see what happens with Kazi's numbers. I am thinking that a drop more insulin may be needed but it's not clear if the AMPS is a bit of a reaction to stress or if it may be a bounce or some other issue. How about waiting this out and then evaluating the dose?

I agree, Sienne. I think she needs a bump in her dose but didn't want to do it right before leaving her for the weekend. Roommate said she didn't think she would have gotten any food - door to basement where her cat eats was shut most of the night. But she did catch her on the counter - so maybe she found some contraband there. Just crossing my fingers that she is muuuch lower when I get home this afternoon.

Still high tonight...but at least heading in the right direction so far. She ate her dinner & is still acting like she feels just fine. If she indeed did get into contraband, was stressed, bouncing etc. it would hopefully begin to clear by tomorrow. I am nervous enough leaving her as it is...don't need to worry about abormally high numbers in addition! nailbite_smile We'll see where we are in the AM.

Very true Sienne! Hitting the 200s is a rarity for Kazi so I instantly think something is wrong. I'd be lying if I said she wasn't making me anxious...but the fact that she has been tearing around the house attacking invisible things and mauling her scratcher for the past 30 minutes has me a little less worried.
