Good Morning ~O) Thank you, everyone, for all the visits yesterday. We had a houseful of company all afternoon & evening + mudslides = I didn't visit back. Gobbles & I will get some visiting in today :-D

He woke up in Gobbles fashion: kisses, purrs, TP duty, sociable! I am so thrilled and thankful to everyone on Gobbles Day 10 OTJ Trial! Back in the day, when he was high so many times for so long, I never believed this could happen. Paws crossed, his low numbers will continue. Today was "weigh in" day and he tipped the scale at 13.4 :shock: which is his exact pre-dx weight. Now I'll have to keep an eye on his weight; he didn't get the name "Gobbles" for just any old reason :lol:

Um....drinking mudslides--I intended to make them with only Baileys & Kahlua, but the neighbors insisted that I needed to add vodka, so they went to their house and came back with a bottle of Absolut :shock: We figured they were beyond the amount of calories we should be consuming, so, what the heck, I started topping them off with whipped cream and chocolate.....let's just say the blender got a good workout :lol:

Day ten for Gobbles and a wonderful day 10 picture from Deb & Wink to celebrate. Hope those mudslides did not leave you with a headache this am.

No, not a headache (eeshhh...that's not a good sign, is it? :lol:) I actually got so full that I quit after the third mudslide....I bought these really cute (plastic) coconut cups at the dollar store last week, which is what prompted me to buy the baileys & kahlua...(yeah right) When I made them last week for my daughter and I, I threw a banana in the blender so they'd be nutritious....
 
Hi Kat,

I'm so excited to see Gobbles on an OTJ trial! Maybe it's karma coming to you both for your hard work with the raffle you organised. Or maybe it's that hard work you've both put in to Gobble's health. Well done to both of you.
