Hi LL! Happy Memorial Day! I hope everyone had a great weekend!
We got on the road early this afternoon, and got home around 5:00 PM tonight. We enjoyed our time at the lake, and Eddie had some surprisingly good cycles   , despite travel stress and probably being a little stressed being in a strange place.
After yesterday's 39 late in the AM cycle, we reduced (again) to 1.5u to try to drain the depot a little bit. This morning, I opted to stick with the 1.5u in the hopes of avoiding drama on the drive. He did have a bounce up to 300 at AM +2, but seems to have already cleared it out. It was raining when we left, and Eddie did not approve of the sounds of rain on the car and the windshield wipers, so he was a particularly unhappy camper during the drive home. I got a couple road tests in. Don't ask about the one where I was parked in a gas station parking lot, hanging over the driver's seat, holding on to Eddie's ear in the backseat while he stood looking out the window yelling at people walking by.
Despite the bounce this morning and being on the road today, Eddie still had green nadirs.
I went back and forth on whether to go back up to the 1.75u or to continue with the 1.5u. Part of me thinks there's a good amount of depot still keeping his numbers going, but on the other hand, I wonder if his BG might be lower back at home without the influence of travel stress. So, we'll see how things go for now with the 1.5u.
I want to thank everyone who helped out this weekend when Eddie and I ran into some low numbers. :YMHUG:
